The Mother Spring holds the Guinness Book of World Records title of World's Deepest Geothermal Hot Spring. Every time the Mother Spring has been measured, the plumb line ran out before reaching the bottom, meaning no one really knows how deep the hot spring goes.
Water from the Mother Spring feeds all 24 pools here at The Springs Resort in Spa, filling each one with her ancient minerals drawn from deep within the earth ✨The surface temperature of the Mother Springs is about 144 degrees Fahrenheit.

Quick update...

Good ole CenturyLink is out and we have no phone signal so we took a nice walk in the snow to the top of a nearby hill to make this quick post. It’s a beautiful snowy morning!

We measured 1.5” of new snow near Turkey Springs. That’s on the low end of what I forecast. Wolf Creek reported 12” in the last 24 hours and 28” total for the storm.

The snow isn’t over! We’ll get more until the trough moves through around sunset. How much? I’ll stick with my previous forecast: 2-4” in the valley and 5-10” in the mountains.

We love your reports and pictures! Please put them in the comments. Depending on our internet situation, we might not see them for a awhile.

Hopefully we’ll be able to do a more thorough post sometime today.

When a cancellation occurred late last night, we almost posted about the opening in our calendar in an effort to rebook those dates.

But an hour after the cancellation, we rebooked half of those nights, then this morning another guest took up the remaining dates plus one. (And we had another guest inquiring, but she waited too late and lost the opportunity.)

We are so grateful for such good business in such a crazy year! People are wanting to find a place of rest and refreshment, and we are delighted to offer just that.

We have some dates available in parts of September through December, so if you're thinking of staying with us in 2020, find your time and book.
