Mentor CityFest returns to Mentor Civic Center Park on Friday, August 16 & 17! This two-day family-friendly festival is packed with activities, games, entertainment, food and more!🎈🍿🍭

🎶Live music at the Mentor Civic Amphitheater with Led Zeppelin tribute, ZOSO, and Pink tribute, Just Like Pink.
🛝CityFest Kids Zone - bounce houses, giant slides, a warrior dash, 70’ obstacle run, rock wall, zip line, an extreme trampoline, and a mobile ninja warrior course!

If anyone is planning a visit to The Holden Arboretum please read their post below

As always, we are so thankful to the team at The Holden Arboretum for taking care of this beautiful place 💚💚Eager for the safe return of the tower and canopy but thankful for the trails to open soon 💚💚

Our horticulture, collections and arborist crews remain hard at work clearing debris from last Tuesday’s storm in order to ensure a safe reopening for our guests. The arboretum will remain closed Tuesday, August 13th.

Starting Wednesday, August 14th, most of our core gardens and inner pathways will be open during normal business hours. However, our Canopy Walk and Emergent Tower, Buckeye Bud’s Adventure Woods, and outer trails remain closed. We hope to reinstate member-only access hours as soon as our grounds are safe to do so.

Wednesday’s rescheduled Concert in the Forest will take place as planned. We thank you for your patience and we will keep our visitors updated!

💥SAVE THE DATE 💥The inaugural Headlands Birding Festival will take place September 20 – 22, 2024, at Headlands Beach State Park. The event will celebrate the fall migration of bird species as they travel to their wintering grounds as far away as South America! 🐦🍃

The Headlands / Mentor Marsh region hosts some of the highest diversity and volume of migratory birds in the state, with 352 species documented in Lake County.

The Mentor Rocks concert scheduled for August 6th is RESCHEDULED for tonight at 7PM!

The Tuesday, August 6, 2024, performance by Bruce in the USA which was cancelled due to a power outage as a result of storms has been tentatively rescheduled for Wednesday, August 7.

Power is still out at the facility as of this posting (9:29 AM). We will advise on the status as of the show as soon as that information is available.
