Here’s our itinerary idea for 1 day in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico! - Great for people coming from the cruise port! 🚢🇵🇷

Start your day by visiting Castillo San Cristobal:
- The $10 entry fee will also pay for you to visit the other fort at the end of the island

Walk through the colorful streets of OSJ, stopping at Calle Fortaleza (Umbrella Street) ⛱️
- You will find lots of live music, restaurants, and beautifully painted apartments

Stop for a Piña Colada!🍍
- Old San Juan restaurant “La Barrachina” is the birthplace of the Piña colada! However there are many places in the island that offer delicious piña coladas

Walk-through Parque de los Gatos.
- Great for cat lovers! Nice walk through a park with many friendly stray cats.

Stop for photos at Puerta de San Juan 📸
- Great place for a few pictures with a nice ocean view

Finish the day at Castillo San Felipe del Morro.
- The entrance free from the first fort applies to this one. Beautiful ocean views and cool tunnels!

San Juan has accessible Ubers and taxis for those who prefer driving between sights! However walking in these areas is beautiful and a fun way to become acquainted with OSJ!

Spring is a great time to travel to Europe and discover some of the most beautiful destinations. Even though the weather may be a little cool and rainy, the air is crisp, the flowers bloom, amazing sites are available, and the summer crowds have yet to arrive. Remember that prices on airfare, cruises, and escorted tours are more reasonable in the Spring than in the summer.
