What are some of your favorite travel pictures? This is Fidel, one of the most photographed dogs in the world overlooking his canal in Bruges, Belgium. Sadly, Fidel is no longer with us, but his memory lives on in thousands of traveler's hearts and photos. So many people thought they had captured a moment never to be seen again. But this was Fidel's life. Every beautiful day.

The USS Arizona Memorial is built over the remains of the sunken battleship USS Arizona – the final resting place for many of the 1,177 crewmen killed on December 7, 1941. The Japanese Naval Forces’ attack on Pearl Harbor marks the worst naval disaster in American history. The National Park Service (NPS) is dedicated to preserving the history of this site for the millions of tourists who visit the memorial each year to show their respects and honor all those who served and gave the ultimate sacrifice for us.

Please pray for all the residents on Maui trying to survive these horrendous fires. This is Lahaina which has experienced devastation all the way down through Front Street to the harbor and north to Kaanapali. As many of you know Maui and the people there hold a special place in my heart. Upcountry Maui is also experiencing similar circumstances.
