On tour this morning, our guests snapped this incredible shot of a beautiful male bighorn sheep exploring the area and leaping over the water!

As we ease into the Coachella Valley’s slower season, we wanted to remind everyone that our tours still run year round!

The only changes are that bike tours only run in the morning time, and our shops hours of operation are different!

When most people think of the desert, they usually think of the a big saguaro cactus famously represented in a lot of movies and beautiful pictures. But did you know that those only grow in the Sonoran Desert?

Though some can be found growing amongst Joshua trees in different areas, Joshua Tree National Park is located in the Mojave Desert where we actually have no saguaro!

One cactus we do have though, amongst a few others, is the beavertail cactus!

This cactus mostly grows throughout the Mojave, Anza-Borrego, and Colorado Deserts. And during its blooming period, it showcases stunning pink flowers that the wildlife enjoy eating as much as we love photographing them!

This rare time of color and blooms is a time that is so special to see, but very hard to predict! So when you get to see flowering like this on desert plants, consider yourself lucky indeed!
