Let’s talk about our two main winter tour options!

We’ve got a half day tour which is great for those looking to be introduced to the world of snowmachines (Alaska’s word for snowmobiles).
Your adventure begins our property in Palmer, AK where you’ll get geared up & your guide will show you how to operate your machine.

Enjoy riding a variety of terrain from forested single track trails, gentle hills and open valleys with stunning mountain views.

Throughout this half day ride you’ll catch glimpses of the massive Knik Glacier that sits 20+ miles up the Knik River Valley. Your turn around point will end with a wide open view of the glacier.

Our half day ride, called Glacier View Snowmobile Tour lasts 3-4 hours and we hope you’ll leave hooked on riding! 😎🙌🏔️🗻

Our full day tour called the Knik Glacier Snowmobile Tour starts similar to the half day. You’ll meet us on our property & we’ll get you geared up with everything needed to keep you warm even in the coldest temperatures.
Before departing your guide will make sure you’re comfortable with operating your machines.

You’ll enjoy forested single track trails, hills and lots of wide open valleys with places to cruise a little faster. This adventure takes you all the way out to the lake at the toe of the Knik Glacier. When conditions allow you’ll be able to explore frozen icebergs & beautiful glacier blue ice. This ride lasts 6-8 hours and is great for new & avid snowmachiners alike.

What if we see a moose...or several?⁠
⁠
Spotting moose up close in the Knik River Valley is common in the winter. As the snow falls moose come down in to the valley where there is less snow and it is easier for them to move around.⁠
⁠
Some days, there are A LOT of moose in the valley. Lucky for you, our guides are quick to spot them. When it’s safe to do so they’ll stop and give you time to take photos and admire these huge animals... From a safe distance. ⁠

Knowing whether to stop or keep going takes a bit of experience, and our guides will talk you through what to do before you even start your machines.⁠

You are welcome to bring any snacks or drinks that you would like...but you don't need to. Our guides will be bringing plenty of snacks and hot cocoa for you to enjoy on the trail!
