Mimi's Haven at Panama City Beach

Pier Park is a popular place in Panama City Beach because it has EVERYTHING you can imagine. It is located at 600 Pier Park Drive which is about about an 18 minute drive from Mimi's Haven. Pier Park has 124 stores, lots and lots of restaurants and many entertainment options, such as an IMAX Theater, a skywheel (can you imagine the views at sunset), and laser tag. You could literally spend the entire day there and never run out of things to do.

I don't think there is anything more beautiful than a winter sunset over the Gulf. I think I even see a star on the left hand side. This is a recent picture from the 8th floor balcony.

This is the view from the sink looking into the galley-style kitchen at Mimi's Haven. This might be an unusual area of the condo to highlight, but there are a lot of great things going on in this picture. 😀 It shows two of our items that really make your stay with us so enjoyable. The ability to stay caffeinated and not having to put on sandy and/or soaked swimsuits. Ha!

We have a dual function coffeepot that uses Keurig style K-cups on one side and a regular coffeepot on the other side. It's very useful for meeting the needs of everyone there. We even offer a starter supply of K-cups and accoutrements.

The washer and dryer set in the kitchen is less than a year old and will get your clothes and towels and beach wear all clean and ready to use again. It also makes packing easier because you don't need to pack as much because you can just clean them instead.

And the last thing I want to mention is the picture of the sea turtle. This picture was already hanging there when the condo was purchased, so it quickly became our mascot. I have named him Calhoun in memory of the sea turtle that lived at the aquarium in Columbia, SC (where I used to live).

Our 2025 calendar will be opening shortly, and I will make a post about it when it does. Be prepared to book your summer vacation and get first picks of all the coveted weeks (like spring break and 4th of July). Life is better at the beach!!!

November is the best time to enjoy a little getaway before the holiday festivities begin. We are offering our lowest rates of the entire year at only $150/night and we still have dates available. We are a 2bed/2bath condo with amazing views! We only have a 2-night minimum, so make it a weekend trip or at these rates, you can stay all week.

Panama City Beach has so much to offer in the off season. Most of the restaurants are still open, there are great places to shop (so you can get started on your Christmas purchases), and as of today, the water temperature is still 76°. Today I want to talk about The Deckhand Social. It can be found at 3901 Thomas Dr., which is literally only about a mile from the condo. Not only do they have a lot of great menu items, you can literally catch your own fish and then bring it to them. They will clean it and cook it up and serve it to you with sides. 🐟🐠🎣 They get lots of great reviews, so the next time you are at Mimi's Haven, go check them out and let me know what you think.

This is the 8th floor balcony at Mimi's Haven, and it is one of my favorite spaces at the condo. It kind of feels like you are in your own little world. You have a full view of everything that is going on down below, yet far enough away that it is very peaceful and serene. All you really hear is the crashing of the waves, the chirp of a bird and the occasional sound of a boat going by. It's an excellent place to enjoy your coffee, clear your thoughts, pray...or all of the above.

For the month of November, we have reduced our rates to only $150/night. That is a 2 bed/2 bath condo for the price of an average hotel room. If you are interested in spending some time on this balcony, please comment "Balcony Living" in the comments and I will send you more information.

While Mimi's Haven was not affected by Hurricane Helene, and is not in the path of Hurricane Milton, we ask that you please join us in praying for our fellow Floridians. Many parts of Florida are facing potential massive devastation due to this storm, and we pray for God's protection over every person and animal.

Today I would like to highlight the living room at Mimi's Haven. As part of an open concept floor plan, this living room is cheery and bright with elegant beachy decor. It features two comfy couches as well as our latest addition, a recliner. The recliner swivels, so you can talk to people sitting on the couch, watch TV or turn around and enjoy the AMAZING views.

I have spoken of Finns Barista Bar & Snack Shack before, but they have just released several fall menu items which I thought was worth another mention. One of the new menu items is this Pumpkin Pie Smoothie. Yes, please!

We just made several upgrades to the condo including a new recliner, some wall decor, and new bedding on all the beds. Because of this, we decided it was time to get some new pictures made.
