The current guest sent me these pictures. It's such a strange sight to see...the place that you associate with being warm and inviting is now covered in snow. This is how rare this is...she said a local reporter interviewed a 23yo old guy who has lived in PCB his entire life and he had never seen snow before. ❄ But don't worry...it will warm up again soon and we will be ready to host your summer vacations.

Yesterday I shared a picture from the Moonspinner's beach cam (first picture) but today the beach is covered in snow (second picture). It's kinda hard to see the difference since the sand is white, but the biggest giveaway is the snow that is collected on the board on the bottom left of the picture. The last picture was taken from the walkway looking down on the parking lot. You don't see this very often, but it's a novelty when it happens. ❄ Stay warm everyone!

One of the best features of Mimi's Haven is the fact that you can watch the sunrise on the left side of the balcony and watch the sunset on the right side of the balcony. It's literally the best of both worlds. 🌅

Apparently boogie boards aren’t just for the waves at the beach. Mimi’s son and friends enjoyed using them as southern sleds today! If you are getting snow today, stay warm, stay safe, and share a picture of your favorite snow kids (or adults).

Pier Park is a popular place in Panama City Beach because it has EVERYTHING you can imagine. It is located at 600 Pier Park Drive which is about about an 18 minute drive from Mimi's Haven. Pier Park has 124 stores, lots and lots of restaurants and many entertainment options, such as an IMAX Theater, a skywheel (can you imagine the views at sunset), and laser tag. You could literally spend the entire day there and never run out of things to do.

I don't think there is anything more beautiful than a winter sunset over the Gulf. I think I even see a star on the left hand side. This is a recent picture from the 8th floor balcony.

This is the view from the sink looking into the galley-style kitchen at Mimi's Haven. This might be an unusual area of the condo to highlight, but there are a lot of great things going on in this picture. 😀 It shows two of our items that really make your stay with us so enjoyable. The ability to stay caffeinated and not having to put on sandy and/or soaked swimsuits. Ha!

We have a dual function coffeepot that uses Keurig style K-cups on one side and a regular coffeepot on the other side. It's very useful for meeting the needs of everyone there. We even offer a starter supply of K-cups and accoutrements.

The washer and dryer set in the kitchen is less than a year old and will get your clothes and towels and beach wear all clean and ready to use again. It also makes packing easier because you don't need to pack as much because you can just clean them instead.

And the last thing I want to mention is the picture of the sea turtle. This picture was already hanging there when the condo was purchased, so it quickly became our mascot. I have named him Calhoun in memory of the sea turtle that lived at the aquarium in Columbia, SC (where I used to live).
