We only have one unit, so it is hard to satisfy everyone's hopeful vacation dates. We are extremely thankful for each person who has been able to book with us and for those who have inquired about booking although the specific dates may have not been available.

Your support matters. To us, a small family in south Georgia, your support is everything. So, know, we appreciate you more than you know!

We are ALMOST full for the summer. We only have one, 3 night availability left until July 29, 2024! (August has various availability if you're interested).

Welcome to our page, Donatella Shores, Oceanfront Vacation Rental! Almost a year into ownership, and I think it's time for an official introduction! We are Don and Dana Tawzer. Born, raised, and with planted roots, South Georgia is where we are blessed to call home. After selling a property in which we bought in our 20s, we knew investing in another property in which we can make life long memories with our family was in our future. After searching from the Atlantic to the Gulf for over a year, we stumbled across this condo on the internet. It checked all the boxes: turn key, bottom floor, oceanfront, steps to the water, two bedroom, two bathroom, a full kitchen, and a location away from the busyness of Panama City Beach. The heated pool in the winter months and the fact that this condo is located beside St. Andrew's State Park were added bonuses! We were able to get in touch with the most amazing realtor in Panama City Beach, Sandi Smith. After bonding over our South Georgia roots, she was able to guide us in a seamless process into a vacation rental ownership. (If you are in the market for a vacation home in Panama City, Sandi is the best in the business. Give her a call!) This past year, we have been blessed with the best renters and the best memories. Numerous trips this year have allowed us to watch our granddaughter wake up eager to walk the beach every morning searching for seashells, float in the crystal clear, emerald waters, throw frisbees in the breeze, or attempt to build anything in our imagination in the sand. We hope over the next year, our home away from home can serve as a vacation spot for you and your families to build a life time of memories as well. We currently self manage Donatella Shores remotely from South Georgia with the help of our daughter, Megan. Therefore, we are able to cut down on rental fees that many websites charge when booking vacations. Vacation, vacation, vacation!

We enjoyed our visits before the summer officially started! Time with our family beside the sand and the water is irreplaceable, especially when our granddaughter is such a beach loving child!

June and July of 2023 are fully booked! We will post any last minute cancelations here if we happen to have any. However, there is still time to book your vacations for August, September, or October! All 3 months are perfect to vacation at Panama City Beach, FL! The temperatures are still warm, but the summer crowd starts to slim down as we move into the fall.

May is around the corner, and what a perfect time for a peaceful vacation! Squeeze a trip in with us in May to avoid the crowds! Spring break months are behind us, and June and July are full of vacationers taking advantage of their children's summer break! So, if you're in need of a vacation, but you want to avoid the summer beach crowd, look at booking in May! Lucky for you, we still have availability in May! We we were just there, and I can attest the crowds were very minimal, the water was beautiful, and the weather was perfect!
