Welcome to our page, Donatella Shores, Oceanfront Vacation Rental! Almost a year into ownership, and I think it's time for an official introduction! We are Don and Dana Tawzer. Born, raised, and with planted roots, South Georgia is where we are blessed to call home. After selling a property in which we bought in our 20s, we knew investing in another property in which we can make life long memories with our family was in our future. After searching from the Atlantic to the Gulf for over a year, we stumbled across this condo on the internet. It checked all the boxes: turn key, bottom floor, oceanfront, steps to the water, two bedroom, two bathroom, a full kitchen, and a location away from the busyness of Panama City Beach. The heated pool in the winter months and the fact that this condo is located beside St. Andrew's State Park were added bonuses! We were able to get in touch with the most amazing realtor in Panama City Beach, Sandi Smith. After bonding over our South Georgia roots, she was able to guide us in a seamless process into a vacation rental ownership. (If you are in the market for a vacation home in Panama City, Sandi is the best in the business. Give her a call!) This past year, we have been blessed with the best renters and the best memories. Numerous trips this year have allowed us to watch our granddaughter wake up eager to walk the beach every morning searching for seashells, float in the crystal clear, emerald waters, throw frisbees in the breeze, or attempt to build anything in our imagination in the sand. We hope over the next year, our home away from home can serve as a vacation spot for you and your families to build a life time of memories as well. We currently self manage Donatella Shores remotely from South Georgia with the help of our daughter, Megan. Therefore, we are able to cut down on rental fees that many websites charge when booking vacations.
