Helene spared us this time. We were on the “good” side of the storm and for that I am grateful. My heart goes out to those who were impacted by her and the destruction she’s caused along her path.
The Gulf was shining yesterday and seemed to calm significantly from days prior.

A little R&R. Because of my wonderful husband, I was able to get away for a few days. He’s back at home dealing with wind damage and I’m sitting on the beach, reading my third book over the last couple of days and enjoying an adult beverage. Life is good!
