This part is never easy! Today, our hardworking Operations Associate wrapped up his second summer season before heading back to school where he will continue his hard work towards a bright future. We’re happy to say it isn’t “goodbye” as Keaton looks forward to a third season in the role of Inspector — a highly regarded position at Liv held by those who best exemplify consistency, dedication, and friendliness. When asked for his thoughts on this recent chapter, Keaton says “I love the people I work with the most. It is always fun, and I look forward to those business cards next year.” So do we!! 🧡

It may be 2024 but it is never too late to do what’s right. Thank you Governor Ron DeSantis for taking this issue seriously 🧡 The tens of thousands of volunteers who walk 1,350 miles of your coastline every day appreciate this effort!

BREAKING: It is now illegal across the state of Florida to intentionally release balloons into the sky. This is a major victory for our ocean, marine animals and ecosystems, coastal communities and the entire Sunshine State!

Every year, turtles, birds and other ocean animals suffer and even die from eating or becoming entangled in balloon litter. In nearly 40 years, Ocean Conservancy’s International Coastal Cleanup® volunteers from around the globe have picked up more than 1.8 million balloons littered across coastlines and waterways.
