ONE RESCUED--WATERS NOW CLOSED TO SWIMMERS

One distressed swimmer was just rescued and CPR is in progress. Double Red flags mean water is closed to swimmers. PLEASE STAY OUT OF THE WATER. The water can appear calm but underneath currents are treacherous today. It's just too dangerous right now to swim.

As of this morning we are being told for all beach goers to stay very aware of the beach flags. A red and purple flag will be flying today! 🔴🟣

We do not have any additional information on the victims from yesterday, please check your location news stations for updates. We are keeping them in our thoughts and prayers for a quick and full recovery. 🩵

If you are looking for things to do besides the beach today don’t forget we have beautiful pools to swim in, or take a stroll downtown for some good eating, and shopping!

So excited to kick off our Groovin’ on The Green Concert Series for 2024!!!

Come out to the best Free Concert on the panhandle as Carillon Beach welcomes The Band!

Jenna and her band are a powerhouse of rock, southern, soul filled groove!!!

Make plans to come out, and enjoy music, food and more on the Village Green.

Don’t forget to bring Chairs, Blankets and coolers! We will have Freddies Sourthern Eats food truck and the Downtown Carillon Restaurants…Our Little Beach Cafe’ and Lake Powell Pizza will both be open!

The boil water notice was lifted!

The City has yet to issue a rescission lifting the Boil Water Notice. We will continue to update you as we learn more.

Carillon,

The water service has been restored but is being followed by a “precautionary boil water notice.”

Notice from Panama City Beach officials:

This “Precautionary Boil Water Notice” will remain in effect until the water line repair is completed and a bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink. The City will issue a rescission lifting this “Precautionary Boil Water Notice” at that time and you will be notified by a handout notice at your address. You can also monitor www.pcbfl.gov for updates.

If you have any questions regarding this Notice, you may contact the City of Panama City Beach Utilities Department at (850) 233-5100 Option 3 from 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday or after hours and weekends at (850) 233-5050.

The water department confirmed a main water line break affecting the entire west end of Bay County. They currently do not have an ETA on when the repair will be finished. We will update you as we are informed of new information.
