Mariner East 309 friends and family - as you can see we are still in the middle of our renovation. It’s going to be awesome when completed. I’m receiving many texts and FB messages about renting. We will not be available for rental until June (hopefully).

Happy New Year Mariner East Friends!! We are still working on renovating our condo. The building itself still needs painting, new doors, and an overall fresh “facelift”. These are a few pics from 2020. Here’s to a new year with vaccines to cure us, no more face masks, and spending time with our friends and family.

Merry Christmas!!! We are still working on getting our condo (and complex) back together from Hurricane Michael. Reliable contractors and prices are not in our favor but we hope to get started soon. We wish you all a blessed 2020!!

Hi All - Mariner East is getting very close to opening for rentals. However, our condo is not going to be ready until 2020. I have neighbors who have completed their renovations and ready to rent when we get open. Please let me know if you need their contact information. Hi Everyone - First sunset was taken 3 days after Michael whirled through PCB and second sunset was taken this past Wednesday. Seven months later things are looking a little better. We have been able to stay at our condo although complex still needs a ton of work as well as our condo. That being said no rentals now and no date when we can open. Have a safe and fun holiday!!!

We still have much to do before Mariner East is up and running. No timeframe yet as to when our complex will be open. Owners on 1-4 are getting back in their condos to begin clean up. We will be going soon to get started. Pool work I hear is starting this week. Just a few older sunset pics to hold us over.

Our complex is still not open for owners to move back in but fingers crossed we can get in after a couple of more weeks. First step is to just get everything out from under tarps and go from there. I have always been a planner but not happening at the moment. Plans will unfold after we get in and figure out what to do first. At least we will have the ocean and sunsets to help us through.

Hi beach friends and happy first day of Daylight Savings. Latest news on our soon to be beautiful again Mariner East complex:
The roof is very near completion but there is still lots to do before even owners can get back in. The stairwells and elevator need repairing; replace/repair the fire alarm system, fencing, pool, sprinkler system; and paint the building. There is much more than this to do and not all of this will need to be completed before owners can get in. Our forecasted date to get in is end of April first of May.
In the meantime, we will play with our grand baby (which is probably more fun than the beach) but we need the beach to rest after we send him home. If you need help finding a beach rental, please let me know.

Well Phil has good news. We also had some good news this week as our roof materials have arrived and are in our parking lot. Hope the roofing will begin by mid-week. Phil’s prediction might mean less rain and our roof can go on much faster.

Punxsutawney Phil makes his 2019 Groundhog Day prediction.

Great news beach fans. The world’s most famous groundhog has made his prediction early on this cold Pennsylvania morning, Punxsutawney Phil did not see his shadow and predicted an early spring.

Legend has it if a groundhog casts a shadow on February 2 and sees it, we should expect six more weeks of icy cold winter-like weather. If not, expect relaxing warmer spring-like weather.

Beach Friends: Several of you have contacted me about renting this year. Since we do not have any solid timeframe of when our condo and complex will be ready for any of us, please book reservations elsewhere. I don't want anyone to miss out on the prime rental weeks waiting on us. If you are planning a beach vacation during 4th of July, now is the time to book as, of course, that is the first week to go. I will keep everyone posted as we progress. As of today, January 22, we are still waiting on roofing materials. I took this sunset shot last week from our balcony. We cannot stay at ME, but it sure was good to briefly perch on a balcony chair (with a glass of wine) and capture another sunset surrounded by the dust and debris.

Happy New Year Beach Friends!!! No confirmed date for our new permanent roof to go on our building but the date is very soon. We will not be allowed in our unit until the roof is on. Once we have access we will be making our own renovations and repairs. We are in hopes that in May our condo and complex will be open. We are all anxious to get back in our homes but with insurance, contracts, roofing companies, etc. we are having to work hard on our patience. We will be back better than before!!

Hello to all our beach family and friends - Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season.

Hurricane Michael hit a little over 8 weeks ago but it seems like an eternity as we wait on adjusters, consultants and contractors to get our building back together. A temporary roof was put on the building (which unfortunately did not hold up very well) while insurance consultants work out the funds and bids on a permanent roof. The permanent roof company has not been finalized and we are waiting on bids. As soon as the permanent roof is put on (and not sure how long that will take) sheet rock can go back into the condos and we can get back in to make our individual repairs. We hope to be able to get in the first of March to paint, put in new flooring and make some updates.

We are all missing our beach homes but when put in perspective with the California fires and those who lost everything to Hurricane Michael we feel fortunate that we have something to rebuild. At this point we don’t know when we will be open for rentals but will let you know as soon as we know.

Merry Christmas and may we feel the sand between our toes in 2019!
