We did not swim with her. She had enough stress dealing with boats, jet skis and fighter jets. That young doe was trying to cross from Shell Island to Tyndall Airforce Base. Fortunately, she gave up and got back on the island.

VERY STRANGE CRITTER
We found it while snorkeling at Shell Island. Even though it is an echinoderm, the BRITTLE STAR is not a starfish. Brittle stars use their water vascular system differently. They twist and bend their arms much more quickly than a sea star.
