🇺🇸We will be closed for the 4th of July this Thursday.

🇺🇸We will resume normal business hours Friday July 5th.

If you have an emergency with your animal while we are closed, please call the clinic number to be given the number for the doctor on call.

☀️We’re expecting high temperatures today and likely again as summer continues. It’s is very important to watch for signs of heatstroke in your pets.
☀️High risk animals are those who are overweight and brachycephalic breeds (flat faced).
☀️Do not leave your pets outside for extended periods of time and limit outdoor exercise during hotter days.
☀️ Always ensure there is plenty of shade and water available at all times.

It’s bottle baby season! 🍼 🐮
We’ve got two new members at the clinic! These little ones will be with us through the year as they grow. They provide great opportunities for our students to practice basic calf husbandry, vaccination administration and physical examinations.

We would like to introduce Mollie! Mollie is a dachshund, corgi, red heeler mix. This sweet girl loves to play and eat her dads house slippers! Mollie came in today to get her puppy vaccines!

Easter Lillies are extremely poisonous to cats, and just 1-2 leaves or the pollen can be lethal. If your cat nibbles on a lily or drinks water from the vase, seek veterinary care immediately!

🦷 “Studies at the Veterinary Collages of Ohio State and Cornell have found 85% of dogs and cats over 6 years of age have some form of dental disease.” (1)

🦷 There are multiple factors that can lead to dental health issues in our pets! They range from diet types, poor oral hygiene and even genetics.

🦷 It is important to keep up with your pets oral health as infections in the mouth can lead to heart, lung, liver and even skin infections. (1)

🦷 Take a peek in your pets mouth to see if they may need a dental cleaning!
