We have officially SOLD! Congrats to the new owners who also plan to run Airbnb/Vrbo. We can't wait to further our retirement and get to play more with this little guy and his soon to be arriving sister!

No one in the history of the world has ever felt what jockey Ron Turcotte felt 50 years ago, on June 9, 1973, when he rode a three-year-old chestnut c**t named Secretariat to his immortal 31-length win in the Belmont Stakes. No jockey, before or since, has ever been that far ahead in a race to determine a Triple Crown, aboard a horse so relentlessly dominant, in front of so many fans in full throat at the implausibility of what they were seeing with their own eyes.

Secretariat arrived at Lexington’s Blue Grass Field on Nov. 12, 1973, to stand at stud at Claiborne Farm in Paris. A week earlier, he had taken his first plane ride, to Ontario, where he won his final race, the Canadian International at Woodbine Racetrack in Toronto. After winning the Triple Crown, Secretariat ran six more races, winning four and finishing second in the other two. After retiring to stud, he remained at Claiborne until his death in 1989 at age 19. Several reasons why you should choose staying at our little place!

We develop relationships with our clients, so they want to return in the future.

You can book directly with us as well as through airbnb, vrbo website. Booking through us directly will save you fees!

We clean it ourselves.....retired nurse and retired state trooper, so we pay attention to detail!

If you discuss the reason for choosing us, we try to include touches that only apply to you and your stay.
(For example, wedding anniversay- silk petals and towel animals, candlelights....anything you wish. Long range cyclists request snacks which will help them refuel during their overnight.....and making it more convenient for them. Hard to grocery shop on a road bike, especially when you are probably tired and just want a shower.)

We allow events, get togethers, showers, and have 2 bedrooms so larger families can stay.

We are pet friendly (within reason) and have items to make the furbabies stay special as well.
