With a heavy heart, we write an obituary.
Jensen Murphy Lad a.k.a. Jeffrey. Foaled August 15, 2001- laid to rest November 28, 2017. Today, we lost one of our Greats. It was an honor to have known him. Over a decade of service to our Carriage Company, he never had a lame day nor was there a load to heavy. He died with his feet done, his belly full and the sun shining down. He was healthy as horse; but when the Lord calls, it's time to go. Preceded by his herd mates Cally, Chloe and Jasper. Survived by his team mates Jimmy, Jaynie, Briscio and Jace. Services will be held in the back 40 acres, at his favorite hangout spot.

It was a bit windy, but still a good day for taking the new kid out for her first gig. Lots of fun people, neat crafts and we are thrilled to be part of the community in Calhan!!

Come meet Jimmy and Jeffrey at the El Paso County Fair and Events Complex Spring Fling- Saturday, April 15th at 2:00pm. They will be taking folks on Calamity Carriage rides! FREE Easter Egg Hunt for kiddos 0-12 hosted by the Calhan Lions Club. The Easter Bunny will be here too!!!
