Holiday in the Park Holiday in the Park was developed by volunteers to create a bright, festive atmosphere in Parkersburg Community parks during the Holiday Season.

Organized and run by volunteers, completely funded by community support/donations collected during the season. Board Members

We hope everyone enjoys the lights in the Parkersburg City Park this year! There are people coming together working very hard to make this happen every year. Your gracious donations go towards all the wonderful light displays and keeping them on! There are candy canes and treats at the booth. Stop by to ride on the horse drawn carriages for the very last night. Merry Christmas Eve to all and to all a good night. 🎅🏼🤶🏼🎄☃️❄️

Our Lights Ceremony was a success! With a wonderful performance from the choir, a great speech from Mike Reynolds, coloring contest awards, recognizing Holiday in the Park committee members, a precious award presentation to the sons of the man who started it all… We hope you all will enjoy driving through the lights in the city park this year and have a Happy Holidays!

Good morning MOV! We are officially back on our page and ready to get the community involved to make our Parkersburg Park Christmas lights better than ever! DID YOU KNOW?! All of our lights are fixed and set up every year by only a handful of volunteers!!! 😱😱😱 These fantastic individuals have put in so many hours over the years to make our Christmas special and would like to start teaching the next generation so they may be able to retire. With that being said, we are looking for several members of the community who would be willing to learn the ins and outs of this task, and put in several hours of volunteer work in the months of September, October, November, and December to make our Christmas special. If you would like to be involved please message us!
