Enjoy live music while you shop! 🎶💸 The Artsbridge, Inc. Winter Music Series continues onto this month and into February! Every Sunday from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. there will be a live performance at the Grand Central Mall!

Concerts are free to attend and are located at the mall entrance near the Ross Dress for Less and Boot Barn.

Looking to plan something fun for the kids? Well get ready for the Parkersburg Art Center's free Saturday Arty Parties starting January 4! 🎨🖌 These parties will run from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. every Saturday until March 8, ending with ArtORama on March 15. There will be a new project or material for kids to work with every week! Projects are designed for children aged 4 - 10. A LEGO building table and a drawing table will be available every week.

Registration is free and can be completed online. Group sizes are limited, so be sure to register only for the sessions you wish to attend!

On December 21st join The Castle's archaeologist Wes Clarke for this year’s solstice sunset watch at Sacra Via Park. During this program, Wes will discuss the astronomical alignments of Marietta’s mound structures. We encourage arrival at 4pm or shortly after in order to hear the event commentary and assure a potential view of the sunset.

This offering is free. Donations are encouraged.
Program takes place at Sacra Via Park (between Third and Second Streets.) Rain or Shine.

Downtown Parkersburg is the place to be after dark! 🌟 Market St is decorated with beautiful Christmas lights, making it a perfect stop before or after your drive through Holiday in the Park.

Couldn't make it to the last open house? The Mid-Ohio Valley Model Railroad Club is hosting an open house this Sunday, Dec. 15 from 3 - 7 p.m. 🚂 Make it a day in Downtown Parkersburg and check out some amazing model trains!
Mr. & Mrs. Claus will also be visiting aboard the Belpre Industrial Parkersburg Railroad Christmas Train from 7 - 8:30 p.m.

Today, we celebrated our wonderful group of volunteers with lunch at Mary B's Diner and dessert by Valley Catering at the Caswell-Smith House in the beautiful Julia-Ann Square Historic District. This year, we've seen over 8,000 visitors (a whole thousand up from last year!), and we couldn't have done it without our volunteers working the Welcome Center on the weekends. ❤
