It’s fall here.

Not many people get to see a seasons change in Florida because, most places are preplanned design landscaping, or the beaches and amusement parks, but here under the native Oaks, Maples, Palms and Bamboo, you can see the changes in the colors of the sky and the trees. It’s so peaceful and beautiful refreshing air. A great time to relax in Florida.

Pond #1 Construction Day!

It’s 🥵 so HOT that even Ra wants one more dip before the water is gone. We are pumping pond #1 into pond #2 so we can reshape, dig deeper, and add shoreline plants to reduce erosion and make a healthier pond that doesn’t swell and take over the yard. being that it’s so excruciatingly hot, all the ponds around here are drying up anyways, so this is a perfect time to do it.

Yes I use to have an enormous fear of snakes. I have a healthy respect for nature as living in it just makes so much sense and is the most natural thing I’ve ever felt. Our surroundings that I submerge myself in, I could never find the same connection going on a day hike. Birds, bugs, trees, turtles, armadillos, skunks, snakes, bobcats, otters, and more. I respect our non venomous snakes, the dangerous ones, get killed if they cross our paths. Sorry, Not Sorry! Curious George
