On February 23, 2025, experience the flavors of New England in this exclusive seven-course tasting dinner at The Forks. From super lump crab cakes and buttery lobster rolls to classic clam “chowdah”, this menu brings the best of the Northeast straight to our intimate dining room in the heart of Appalachia.

For $125 per person, you’ll enjoy a full seven-course experience, with an optional wine pairing available for an additional cost to elevate your evening.

New England Chef’s Table Menu

Course 1 – Super Lump Crab Cake
Made with an abundance of sweet, tender super lump crab meat and just enough binding to hold it all together. Served with roasted pepper cream sauce.

Course 2 – “Chowdah”
New England’s classic creamy clam chowder with crackers.

Course 3 – Lobster Roll
Maine lobster tossed in herb butter, served on a toasted English bun with a lemon aioli.

Course 4 – Shrimp Salad
Poached Shrimp tossed in a lemon-dill dressing, served on a bed of greens and and garnished with toasted almonds.

Course 5 – Green Apple Sorbet
Palate cleanser.

Course 6 – Red Snapper
Pan-seared red snapper served over a vegetable ragout, finished with a roasted garlic butter cream.

Course 7 – Fresh Blueberry Pie & Whoopie Pie
Maine couldn’t settle on just one dessert, so they made blueberry pie the official state dessert and whoopie pie the official state pie. We respect that kind of dedication to sweets, so you’re getting both. A rich chocolate cake cookie filled with maple Chantilly, paired with blueberry pie and finished with sweet cream.

Join us for one of two special dates as we take you on a rail adventure to help us figure out Whodunit in an exciting murder mystery! While the mystery unfolds, you’ll also be enjoying heavy hors d’oeuvres provided by the Railyard Restaurant in Elkins, WV and wine tastings provided by Lambert’s Winery of Weston, WV! This murder mystery wine train experience is unlike any other!

The train travels along the same route as the New Tygart Flyer.
