Today we had a blow out. Winds were from the north and low tide was at 11:43 am. When the bayou is this low, you can start to see where the original channels used to be before subsidence happened. Here is a 360° view from Bay Area park, and a photo of the Armand Bayou Nature Center boat house. The tree stumps that can be seen are where the banks of the bayou used to be.

I'm thankful for being able to kayak, having a kayak and friends and family to go kayaking with.
