introducing: interesting insights into innovation, ian edition. mortadella = out | bologna = in… we’ve longed to get mortadella’s cooked & cured american cousin onto this pizza. we finally finagled fripper’s delicious bologna to sonoita, arizona to make our dreams of a better pizzalife come true. on the menu now! improved ian - burrata, bologna, pistachio pesto, chiltepin, more pistachio for good measure. nice time with a glass of pink 🍕🍷💥

A timely reminder from our friends Rune Wines about the lure of the Sky Islands.

Since we’re going in to Summer here’s your annual reminder that as you head south to Sonoita from Tucson/Phoenix you go up in elevation aka cooler temps! You can generally expect Rune to be 10-20 degrees cooler depending on where you’re coming from. That makes us a great, and easy, getaway from the heat!

Made even better by our new Tasting Menu addition of 2022 Roussanne. A nose of marshmallow and Bosc pear with a palette of peachy mineral character makes this vintage a perfect summertime sipper!

JAZZ is in the air this weekend in Patagonia. Two "not to be missed" events...

MOVIES & MUSIC Event #1 - Film: "Calle 54" + Music: Cool Breeze Latin Jazz. Make it a jazzy weekend, beginning with a special presentation of "Calle 54" at the Tin Shed Theater on Friday, June 7th, at 6 PM. Spanish director Fernando Truebo directed the 2000 documentary film about Latin jazz. Admission is $5 at the door.

**SOLD OUT** Join us for the highlight of our Benderly Concert Series 2023-2024, the final concert of our season featuring a trio of outstanding musicians: Evan Kory and Juan Mejia, former Artists in Residence and Lauren Roth, Concertmaster of the Tucson Symphony Orchestra. Performance on May 26th at 3 PM at the Benderly-Kendall Opera House. 2022 Rosé: A crisp and refreshing blend of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Graciano, Malbec, and Petite Sirah produced through saignée and fermented in 100% stainless steel. By bleeding off juice from our red fermentations for Rosé, we make our reds more concentrated and get a tasty Rosé in the process.

2022 Brigand Echoes: A layered bouquet of honey, white flowers, and nectarine on the nose leads to a decadent palate of red apple. 66% Roussanne, 34% Viognier.

2021 Grenache: With fruit from an assortment of vineyards, this wine highlights the terroir of the Willcox bench. Our 2021 Grenache will surprise you with its deep color, dense mouthfeel, and baking spice character. This wine evokes strawberries, black cherry, and dried winter citrus.
