It was hard saying goodbye to the diner my father started so many years ago. Many, many memories at the diner from Sunday afternoons after church in the back, watching our dad cook, people standing packed at the entrance waiting for a table on a weekend, our mom waitressing to our mom running the diner after my dad passed away...

I would like to apologize to all the wonderful strong women. An ignorant Bloomfield restaurant owner posted men only for employment. Being in buisness for 40 years. We could of not existed if it wasn't for the hard work and dedication we had from both men and women!! Thank you hope everyone is having a wonderful day!! From my family to yours!!

Sad day for the Egg Platter Diner 71 years in the same location. After much confusion and last minute discussions of saving and relocating it. this happened. No we weren't alerted or notified by anyone. Would of been nice being that we heard it was going to be saved and relocated. Fair well!!

I didn't live or go to school in Paterson, however I spent more time in Paterson than most since I was a little boy. I grew up with many generations of families that passed through the diner for the 40 years my family owned it. I stand with the good people of Paterson. This sh****ad doesn't represent the good people that make up the communities of Paterson. Stay and remain vigilant. If something is suspicious report it! My thoughts and prayers for the NYC victims.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Puerto Rico, please help and support with anything you can donate. It's not being properly reported, the island is in tremendous need. Thank you Paterson PD and Fire Department for being a class act as always. God bless to all first responders!
