What a fabulous experience visiting the Harley Davidson museum in Milwaukee, learning about the history was fantastic, my husband drives a Harley so he was just beside himself 🥰, they have events almost weekly, when we were there they had the annual vintage motorcycle festival so much fun!

Had an opportunity to cruise with Celestyal cruises, was my first time, won't be my last ❤!

I came in a day early to explore Athens, we sailed the Idyllic Aegean itinerary which included stops in Thessaloniki, Crete, Santorini, Mykonos, Milos and Kusadasi Turkey, we had a port everyday! Celestyal is a Greek cruise line which enabled us to make a stop everyday and spent full days with very late departures so able to tour during the day and spend evenings exploring. The ships also smaller which was very special. The history is amazing, the Aegean Sea spectacular! My pictures don't even do the destination justice!

We had the privilege to visit Normandy France. Something I've always wanted to see.

A day is not enough time to spend there, to stand on the beaches, the memorials are amazing, to go inside the bunkers where the German troops were waiting for our soldiers 😥 you can see in one of the pictures of me standing on top of the bunker just how huge they were, to go to the US cemetery with over 9,000 headstones of which 1500 were never identified, it's hard to describe the emotions, going thru the museum, it's overwhelming,
I'm so glad we went with a tour, had great guides, wouldn't even have known where to start, you can see from the map all the beaches we visited

Holidays in Nashville, absolutely spectacular, staying at the Opryland resort a must it's a destination in itself! Walking distance to the Grand Ole Opry, General Jackson Riverboat cruise, so many things for kids to do, ice skating, toboggans and oh my the decorations WOW! to go into downtown Nashville an easy Uber ride away. packages available from any airport let us know if we can help with holiday travels ✈

So excited to share with you a fabulous European vacation! Loved putting together the perfect trip to celebrate Vanessa's 40th birthday with Carlos and Patty and Hugo's 20th wedding anniversary with Erika and Jose joining in the celebration ❤

Thrilled to see Europe is back! They explored Rome, Venice, Positano, Naples, Capri Island and of course Paris! Look at all they saw and did, Sister Chapel, Vatican, Colesseum, Blue Grotto, Pompeii, Louvre, Eiffel Tower and an even at the Moulin Rouge! This is just a sampling of their whirlwind European vacation, how will they ever top this 🥰🥰?!

Was lucky to be able to sail on the brand new Princess ship the "Discovery" before she started her inaugural season this past week!
She's absolutely beautiful, so many dining options which was all soooo delicious! Two pools, several hot tubs, really loved the infinity pool at the back of the ship, entertainment throughout the ship nightly shows in the theatre, movies under the stars, art auctions, sports court. She'll be sailing in Alaska this summer
All Princess ships are Princess Medallion class, so simple to use no more signing receipts, don't need to get up from your lounger to order lunch or get a cocktail, everything done from your phone you'll see one of the pics as you approach your door it opens for you, let us know if you'd like to check her out, we still have availability for this summer!

One of the things I love about the tours on Virgin Cruises is that they are handpicked by Richard Branson, he likes the unique and no crowds exactly what we got on our stop in Bimini Island, the Sapona shipwreck and swimming with the sharks and yes we did jump in there! after the tour spent the rest of the day at his Beach club 😎

Was lucky to be able to sail on the new Scarlett Lady by Virgin Voyages Cruises, what a game changer in cruising! I have been on 50+ cruises, this is the first cruise of it's kind, designed with luxury yachting in mind, no kids, no buffets, no huge dining room, loved no announcements all day, very unique adult shows. The cabins wow, rainshowers, loved the toilet separate from bathroom, handcrafted hammocks on every balcony, everything in the cabim done on the tablet, nothing like waking up in the morning and opening the curtains from bed 😊, each tour hand picked by Richard Branson unique and no crowds he likes tours off the beaten path and supporting the local communities.

There are at least 20 eateries to choose from, sit down restaurants all specialized, endless bars, fabulous shopping even a tattoo parlor onboard! Enjoy some of the pictures, I could go on and on! Next post I'll share our tours including swimming with sharks 😱 !

I can't believe January is already behind us! folks are planning their vacations like never before, we had so many cancellations in 2020 and 2021 everyone ready to go!! For safety reasons and to meet new travel protocols, resorts and cruise lines are still not all operating at 100% so those peak times; summer, long weekend holidays and Christmas holidays are filling up fast, airlines are not 100% yet so those seats are going quickly too. Do be patient as we wait to put together amazing vacations as we are booking as never before :)

This year continues to be an uncertain year in the travel industry, and it’s vital that travelers plan their vacations with a reputable travel agent.

An amazing day spent cruising the Rhine Gorge, a 65 km section of the Rhine River between Koblenz and Bingen Germany, this region was added to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites, we saw 30+ castles and ruins, ended the day in Lahnstein with our evening visit at Lahneck Castle, just an amazing day. So much history the architecture just beautiful

Two more fabulous ports to share next we went to Heidelberg, a perfectly preserved Medieval city in the Neckar River, we toured the Castle. The Great Vat, an 18th century, 49,000 gallon wine cask! Keeping in mind everyone drank wine because the water made so many people sick!

Im glad we missed the Christmas markets because just going to the Christmas shops made me glad I had an extra suitcase 😂, the onto Rudesheim in the afternoon where we overnited cutest village ever!! The wineries, the Biergartens, coffeehouses also home to Siegfrieds musical museum, had the amazing Rudesheimer coffee made with brandy then lit on fire before adding the whip cream! Was sooooo good!

First two days of RiverCruise started in Basel, Switzerland took the tour to Lucerne where we spent the day sampling Swiss chocolates 😋, then next day onto Strasbourg France, oh my the Cathedral, the history, the architecture, the patisseries! Everything just stunning, tours are included with the Rivercruises so no need to worry what you'll being doing! Always with local guides, learn so much, absolutely fell in love with Strasbourg!

Got to experience my first RiverCruise with AmaWaterways! We cruised on the AmaSerena, we started in Basel Switzerland, then Strasbourg France, Heidelberg Germany, Rudesheim, Cologne, Amsterdam, cruised the Rhine Gorge seeing over 30 castles! First going to share the ships themselves the itineraries are amazing visiting villages, remote hard to reach places. Average guest capacity is 130! No crowds, everything so personal, included all meals, tours, beer and wine with meals, bicycles on board to use so much more included! Let me know what you think!

One of our stops on our cruise was San Diego, we spent the day taking the tour on the USS Midway, absolutely amazing tour, so much history I didnt realize!

The USS Midway was the longest serving aircraft carrier in the 20th century (47 years), named after the Battle of Midway of June 1942. Midway was first in it's class of ships having and armored flight deck and able to accommodate 120 planes!

Taking your self guided audio tour below deck will bring you thru engineering, control rooms,, chow hall (14,000 meals a day!) wardroom, laundry, sick bay, the bright, sleeping quarters then onto the flight deck where 26 carriers are on display and you have the chance to get in one!. Seeing the Remeberence wall, very powerful never forget what our military has done for us! Below are just a sampling of pictures, you will spend about 4 hours to see all will put in approx 5 miles!

Just back from the Princess Majestic cruise, it's been over two years since my last cruise! She just finished her Alaska Season and now doing the 3 to 7 day Mexico and Coastal cruises, what an amazing time we had! So much to share, first off, all Princess ships are now Medallion, few kinks still to work out but totally manageable, check in so easy and everything on the ship so easy to access.

When we boarded we were greeted by the crew clapping and welcoming us onboard, they were so so happy and grateful to be working and having us onboard, was quite humbling

New travel protocols in place, currently their ships are starting at 40% occupancy, I love how they're easing into cruise travels with the social distancing protocols in the dining areas, tours, movies under the stars, comedy clubs, Art auctions, shows in the theatre, the pool area and the bars. New protocols definitely did not take away from the cruise experience! And oh my the food, fabulous!!! Jeans definitely got a bit snug since back home 😂!

Oh how I miss traveling to Europe!! Especially Amsterdam, I want to again cruise the canals, tour the Heineken Experience, visit Volendam, go to the Van Gogh and Rijksmuseum, stuff myself on Gouda cheese and croquettes! The list is endless....fingers crossed my Europe trip in October goes as planned!!

It's been almost two seasons since we've been able to cruise Alaska, 2022 is now available, never too early to start planning next summer! We have a great 7 day itinerary with Princess, sailing round trip from Seattle, she stops in Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan, Victoria BC and cruise thru the Tracy Arm Fjords or Glacier Bay, there are so many options for Alaska!

Below are some pictures of our group trip to Alaska, the pictures just don't do it justice, the tour options are endless, helicopter ride to the glaciers, hiking, sled dog training camp, kayaking, salmon bake, lumberjack show the list goes and on!

It's been 10 years since a new resort has opened on the Las Vegas strip and Resorts World will not disssapoint! There is something for everyone here.

Had a chance to check it out this week, just opened two weeks ago. Three Hilton resorts under one roof, the luxurious Crocker, Conrad Hotel and resort and the Hilton, between the three of them, 3500+ rooms, 117k feet of casino space, 40 food eateries with so many dining choices, including the secret speakeasy for private get togethers and the Starlite lounge on the 66th floor! they've partnered with grubhub for their room service menu!
5 acre pool complex. The upcoming concert residencies will include Celine Dion, Luke Bryant, Carrie Underwood and Katy Perry! So many choices for wedding, meeting space accommodate all sizes of parties!
They have direct access to the Elon Musk designed underground transport system "The Loop"
The spot that Resorts World is built on is home to the former Stardust Hotel those of that know Vegas from back in the day will notice all the old time pictures throughout the resort along with the Michael F*x collection of Rolls Royce Motor cars

Ahhhh just back from a weekend getaway to Puerto Vallarta, this time around we stayed in the Riviera Nayarit area at the Riu Jalisco. Great resort for families so many kids activities in the kids club, nightly shows, get a massage in the beach cabana, two pools and the beach just steps away.

Many changes continue to happen at the resorts to make travels safe and comfortable, here one of the a la carte restaurants changed to a buffet so now with two buffets folks much more spread out, multiple pop up bars so no crowding at one main bar, the public restrooms have one person assigned all day just constantly cleaning, all staff wear masks

Covid testing required to come home, was so easy, Riu is one of the main resorts we use, they have what we look for when our clients travel, having Covid testing on property, included in your stay and typically same day results

Food was fabulous, I'm not typically a dessert person but couldn't be helped this trip 😂 multiple a la carte restaurants staying here you're able to go to the Riu Vallarta next door and have more choices!

And yes there are 4 ft Iguanas roaming the resort 😱😂
