- This young woman will go far, since she knows to stay in touch with and appreciate those who help her.
- The Benton County Master Gardeners not only educate, beautify, and grow food for their communities, but proceeds from their wonderful spring plant sale in Bentonville helps educate future green industry teachers, researchers, and other professionals. This talented, knowledgeable, fun community of gardeners give thousands of hours of volunteer time to create this plant sale.

Local hardware stores are good places to find outdoor spigot covers, bird feeders and bird food - three things that your garden may need when bitter cold hits next week.

#58 in 100 Things to Do in Bentonville and Rogers Before You Die is the Art-O-Mat Vending Machine inside The Momentary Gift Shop. I recently bought one Christmas gift from that machine and two from the Momentary gift shop.

The Momentary and its gift shop, plus 8th Street Market would be a good excursion for visiting family members who are creative, fun. and curious. Perfect exhibition happening now: “Best in Show: Pets in Contemporary Photography”.

Purchasing inexpensive original art from the Art-o-Mat and late morning coffee at the Tower Bar upstairs overlooking Bentonville would add to the experience.

Or take advantage of weekend hours to enjoy the exhibition and a drink before dinner.

Nobody outgrows care packages.

"Cranberry Relish" on The House of Webster Gift Shop sign inspired a care package for an aunt who wishes cranberry sauce was on the Thanksgiving menu at her retirement home far from us.

Thanks to Dandy Roll in downtown Rogers for helping me find a few more treasures for her. Toss in homemade cookies and - Voila - a care package is mailed.

Honeycomb Kitchen Shop in downtown Rogers is decorated for the holidays and having an open house this Saturday 10-6.

I found a couple presents there during a cooking class break this weekend.
