It appears we had some extra guests arrive at our cabin a little unannounced and they've taken up residence in the front yard... all day 🧡 That is what happens when you come to this beautiful little slice of heaven, wildlife in all forms. Just a warning watch out for Goose poo!!

Amazing views while sitting on the deck of Hallaway Hideaway.
We call that tree at the access a Bonzai tree. The year we built the cabin that tree hid most of the view of the lake it, was so big, but a wind storm came and broke over half of it off. Therefore opening up the view even more.
The South Lida boat access can be a busy one but while renting our cabin there is no need to deal with the hustle and bustle of parking your trailer. Just pull on up to the cabin!

And just like that I melted! Our first review of our cabin guests came in ❤️
I hope to always make our guests feel welcome enough to want to want to come back especially when they were such great guests.
All the hard work and anxiety paid off!!
We always knew our little cozy cabin was special but now having strangers express their love for our Hallaway Hideaway makes me super excited to see what the future holds ❤️

Our cute little Shabin has a Queen bedroom, 2 full beds in the quaint little loft, and a sectional couch for extra company.
Fully functional kitchen, and a bathroom with a shower!
Bonfire pit, handicap accessible ramp/deck (construction spring 2022 because ya know winter ;) )
Lake access to North and South Lake Lida (South Lake lida access fees paid by us)
Bring your own boat, Kayaks and 14 foot aluminum boat with trolling motor available to rent.
Horse lovers welcome, bring your own portable fencing, and enjoy a weekend of riding in Maplewood!
Want an amazing burger? The famous Maple Beach restaurant is just down the road over Stoney Bar on county highway 108.
Extra tents allowed for an extra fee.

Just a mid-construction sneak peak!!
Plumbing is scheduled to be done second week of October then we will be in full swing to get the finishing touches done before the snow flies! It is coming together so beautifully!

Sanded almost all of the window and room trim today! Staining comes next. It's getting closer and closer to painting the walls! Can't believe all of the physical labor that's going into our Hallaway Hideaway ❤ we cannot wait to reveal our creation!

Welcome to the beginning of Hallaway Hideaway! Located on our lake home property on North Lake Lida in Minnesota.
Pending everything goes smoothly we will be open for rental Summer of 2022!
This cozy little 1 bedroom has a loft that will have room for 2-4 additional little guests, a full kitchen and bathroom with a shower! This will be the perfect secluded family vacation, sleep space for up to 7! Access to South and North Lake Lida, boat and kayak rentals, guided fishing and beautiful views of the famous Hallaway Hill in Maplewood State Park which is located directly across from our location. (Main park entrance is 3 miles east on highway 108)
Our cabin was built brand new May 2021, delivered to our location, where our family has been putting in countless hours to finish the interior work.
