Had a great time last night with many of our fellow cruisers heading to Alaska with me in a few weeks. These are just some of the perks of joining one of our group trips. We enjoyed some social time as well as answering questions at the Pella Wijn House, including charcuterie and a butter board. And everyone got their goody bags with thoughtfully chosen items to enhance their trip. Let’s go!!!

Red hair is a physical characteristic often associated with the Irish, and it is more common on the Emerald Isle than in the rest of the world, where red heads only make up 2% of the global population.

I would like to point out this fun fact to my boyfriend, John, specifically. He seemed shocked when I mentioned I didn't think there were a lot of redheads in Ireland. I was expecting something more like 50% of the people would be redheads. Hahaha

Blarney Castle is home to the legendary Blarney Stone. It is says that anyone who kisses this stone receives the "Gift of Gab," the ability to have unparalleled eloquence and wit. Now, that’s something worth talking about!

With over 1 million visitors each year, the Cliffs of Moher are one of Ireland's top tourist destinations. At over 700 feet, the cliffs have been the location of many legends, myths and folklore, and have even been a filming location for many movies!
