We were honored when brought us in on a very special project with their partner, . We loved learning more about the force behind the forces - and their 80 year partnership together.

The goal of these influencer kits was to give each gaming ambassador a super-personalized variety of specialty swag and gear to empower them to meet the challenge of the upcoming fundraising campaign.

We were able to focus on each individual recipient and incorporate their streamer identity into the iconic USO and Coca-Cola branding - printed on the custom designed bandana and hand-painted on the hats. The shipping boxes were personalized through and through; on the outside with symbols of their personal interests and custom notes on the inside lid. Rounding out the kit with a set of Coke bottles (of course) with their streamer name and held in a protective carrier, a bottle opener, USO sparklers, Confetti flings with red + blue confetti, and a Can o’ Swag filled with custom pins, shoelaces, tattoos, buttons and a keychain.

You can call us GGL. You probably already do*.

Our acronym always felt more like a nickname. Like a good friend who knew us well and called us “GGL”. We’ve toyed with a name refresh for a while and knew that our brand deserved a new look as well - and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with you.

Don’t worry, we’re taking all the “good”ness with us and the brand “life” we’ve built together. Just because we’ve shortened our name, doesn’t mean we’re leaving the good life behind.

So stay tuned to see how branding geeks and lily-gilders retell a brand story as it turns 15. New name, new look, same big wow.

Not all Superheroes wear capes. However, if you were at this conference that included a party at the Avengers Campus at Disneyland, you absolutely wore a cape (branded, of course)… and a mask, glow bracelets and custom glow-in-the-dark tattoos, for good measure.

This afterparty kit was part of a welcome bag for the conference that also included branded snacks (Tates cookies, popcorn, trail mix bars) held in a chic drawstring bag printed with the logo and adorned with buttons that embraced the conference theme and location.

Stay tuned for the most dramatic mail in Bachelorette history! In full disclosure, it may have helped that we have watched many seasons of The Bachelorette (including JoJo and Jordan’s season), as we had no trouble coming up with all the familiar phrases that diehard fans know and love.

This “datenight” box was abundantly cheeky - playing off the idea of the “fantasy suite”, from the “first impression rose” to the “final rose” with a personalized satin pillowcase, rose petals ready to be strewn on their bed, rose-scented candle, S’mores Kit, Rose chocolate bar, Caramel log, Rose gummies, Prosecco Rose drink bomb, custom keychain and doorhanger.

Most importantly, we showcased JoJo and Jordan’s personal stationery suite by as a flatlay on the printed platform, to show that we are here for the “write reasons”. Spoiler Alert: We’re sure it will make for the most dramatic night ever!

You know we love the challenge of putting the focus on one particular thing while orchestrating a choreographed unboxing and keeping everything exactly in place during transit - so this project was perfect for us.

For , we put the spotlight (pun intended, as always) on the Fire TV stick (with stylish custom skin) used to access the app that features quick games to discover together. To accessorize the experience, recipients opened the doors to reveal insta-ready content for media influencers; a collection of on-palette candy, a cocktail kit and graphic coasters - all presented in their own custom holders. The entire platform lifted for more treats including the tik tok-favorite "Sunset Lamp” and a perfect popcorn popper paired with a “Variety Show” of kernels.

Over the past 5 years of working with the College Football Playoff, we’ve found that their guests love collectibles - especially something they can’t get at a gift shop or airport. The annual limited edition, branded footballs always score points and the on-site personalization ups the ante - with guests clamoring to “design” and watch their football come to life. For the Tailgate Swag Spot at the College Football Playoff, creating the ultimate tailgate (with sustainability in mind) started at the salvage yard, where we cut the truck in half and refurbished the truckbed. We wrapped it in dynamic branded graphics and created a background which framed a fun photo opp for guests to “drive”. The truck was surrounded by display accessories to trick out the tailgate, including a hand-painted BBQ grill, cooler and co****le. During the 3 day event leading up to the big game, guests visited the Swag Spot to see what had in store for them that day. For the College Football Playoff Welcome / Registration Room for special guests, the challenge was to create a dynamic yet sustainable installation.

We utilized the registration boxes (see previous post) to serve as “bricks” that could be arranged and then given out as the event unfolded. Every surface of the box was featured, along with a large backdrop of the logo. The installation was in-the-round and one side could be viewed from the glass “storefront” as escalators brought guests to the registration space, and then the other side as they entered the room. The display was dynamic and changing as the boxes were given out in a well-orchestrated fashion. All materials for the display were given out or easily recycled, making it truly sustainable. As the clock winds down on this football season, we’re excited to share a recap of what we created for the College Football Playoff in Indy last month.

After several years, we've established a tradition of gifting personalized footballs to the special guests at the . Since guests have come to expect (and ask about!) them, we decided to kick-off registration with the branded football in a custom box and platform to hold it perfectly - as well as credentials, passes, guides and a Safety Swag pop-top. When given, the team explained that this box would be the same container that they would fill with

We approach each project with the end in mind. Not “the END” but how our partners want their recipients to feel when they receive it. For this virtual conference, the creative brief focused on what a new year brings; new day, new energy, new season, new purpose. We designed the box with separate areas and items that illustrated the concept on a practical level. Each section opened up, like an advent calendar, to reveal an element of interactivity and purpose.
A variety of questions for their specific breakout group were printed on cards held in the branded mugs, their respective choice of tea (in a branded tin), coffee (in a branded bag) or hot cocoa (in a branded tin), a luxe scarf with logo embroidered, and an interactive book on “purpose”. For their 25th Anniversary, The Knot celebrated and (who were also celebrating their 25th!) on their cover. This mailer, geared toward real , made room for a taste of the good life (ahem) with champagne EVERYTHING (truffles, popcorn, gummies), golden “25” sparklers & matches, the 25th anniversary issue, and a custom Shotski for two - personalized with each recipients name - all held in a custom platform. And yes, Nathan made the shotskis himself, so now he can add that to his resume.

Pass up a chance to rock out a 90’s-themed mailer for the 40th anniversary of ? As if!

The shipping box was illustrated to look like a classic boom box that opened to reveal a still life from a newly engaged woman’s room in the early 90’s. Complete with all her favorite accessories; a flip phone, Walkman, Viewmaster, video tape, thank you notes, an engagement ring box and of course, the very first issue of The Knot.

Embedded into the custom platform were branded surprises including a “Time Capsule” (filled with nostalgic candy, branded shoelaces, custom tattoos, stickers and buttons), a Viewmaster with a retrospective of their trendsetting covers, and a USB faux cassette “mix tape” of top wedding songs from the past 25 years. Under the platform was a blinged out Jansport backpack and the 40th anniversary issue of The Knot. It really was all that and a bag of chips.

On their nationwide yacht excursions, Sandals partners received a fully branded bluetooth speaker, custom made Sea Mineral travel candle tin, and a blind embossed luggage tag for their next trip. We love coffee. Like LOVE love. So this project, a Bean-to-Barista Kit created for , was like being called home to the mothership.

Our goal was to start with the charm of a little Costa Coffee shop and mix in a little brand storytelling and insight into their craft. The lid has a pop-up awning and doors that open to reveal their message. For the main attraction, we created die cut platform “doors” that open to show infographics about the Bean-to-Barista process and the story behind the beans. The entire box features custom illustrations to compliment the storytelling. Beneath the platform is a treasure trove of professional quality tools and everything a barista needs for the perfect pour.

Timing is everything. Especially when it comes to Surprise & Delight. How a gifting experience is structured and set up for the recipient can really enhance the unboxing moment and the virtual event itself if there are embedded cues and storytelling.

We designed this fully printed box with dividers to put the spotlight on the 3 main parts of the event theme…
ADAPT: Wooden “Find your happiness” desktop box with 52 empowering quotes on cards + a custom printed card in front.
EVOLVE: The 5 Year Book with custom printed band wrapped around.
THRIVE: Air plant in pod vase, held in clear tube with branded label.
Our client wanted to add a touch of personalization so we had faux wood Corkcicle tumblers hand-painted by with each recipients’ initials.
Our favorite part: The “Surprise” section, that was a timed reveal during the virtual event, hinted at the location of the next in-person forum. Attendees were prompted to “just add ice” to a Mojito Cocktail Kit and “just add sun” when picking out their own customizable sunglasses online (from our fave ). We love a little intrigue followed by cocktails and sunshine.

Same, Moira, same. We love everything about award’s season and the shows every sunday night! So it was particularly thrilling to create an Watch Kit for Hollywood’s Biggest Night.

The envelope please… an invitation to watch an IMDb pre-show was tucked into an oversized gold envelope on the inside lid. We divided the night into 3 parts and presented the decadent yet playful accessories accordingly. Part 1 had everything a guest would need to get “gold carpet” ready, including a ring light and branded instant camera. Part 2 had watch party “essentials” including Champagne popcorn, branded bluelight glasses and Dr Pepper Bingo card. And Part 3 had a cozy afterparty vibe with a luxe blanket, after glow candle and champagne gummies.

This box for the Zurich Classic of New Orleans was sent to guests who would have normally attended the PGA tournament in the spring, but were now experiencing virtually. Our creative clients wanted to evoke the sights, sounds, scents and tastes of NOLA with a box full of their favorite things.

The unboxing starts out with a view of the fairway and leads to a “hole-in-one” golf ball treat. The “green” diecut platform sets the recipient up for the 19th hole (cocktails!) with wooden drink flagsticks etched with the logo. Once the “green” is lifted, artfully branded gifts are revealed, including a fully printed bluetooth speaker (with link to playlist), a grass-scented soy candle in glass jar, Creole seasoning, branded tumbler, and bluelight-blocking glasses with custom clings.

Of course, a box built around The Big Easy had to have a decked out Sazarec Cocktail Kit with a classic recipe, Peychauds bitters, an “Old Fashioned” in a tin, a bottle opener and custom coasters.

One of our favorite parts of this epic mailer? A nod to “Tripod” the 3-legged “shy” gator that roams the 17th and 18th holes. We had his likeness cast as an unforgettable bottle opener!

From the first time we saw her scream in E.T., we fell in love with Drew Barrymore (like everyone else). So, it was a real thrill to get a call to create this little box of sunshine to announce her second season of .

The funny thing about this box is that everyone who worked on it said it made them feel happy! It featured lots of Drew’s faves that she hand-picked from small businesses… A "Little Yellow Book”, her signature flower pin, wildflower seed matchbooks, "Drew’s News" magnet, coffee, fragrance oil, crystal cookie, plus cosmetics, her mug and magazine, of course.

The team at Nascar always has a finger on the pulse of what’s happening and we are here for it. Last summer, we collaborated on this post-virtual event mailer themed around diversity and their commitment to growth. We loved that their team invited recipients to choose between a list of books curated by the panelists so that they could continue their education. It was inspiring for us to create a collection of 52 designed cards with powerful quotes about diversity and inclusion - all held in a wooden display box with window.

Gray skies and cold temps have us dreaming of swim-up bars (here’s looking at you ) and laying out under a big beach umbrella in the Caribbean. This throwback to last summer gives us all the right feels (and stuff!) to prep and dream.

These Summer Survival Kits had a liner on the box lid that was personalized with each recipients name while the mailer included: a trio of baby brownies, small bag of cheesy popcorn, branded deck of cards, desktop grow kit, phone fan with custom sticker sheet, rosemary mint hand sani and branded sunscreen.

We were really excited to take on this project that wrapped up the historic 2020 NASCAR season. With one of our favorite clients / collaborators, we envisioned a dynamic hand bound “flag” book, and collaborated with to create 200 books that had customized content for each of the sponsors. The books had sleek hot stamped covers and personalized endpages. We presented each book in a fully printed box with a custom platform. Super ambitious, but totally worth it.

Game night has definitely been trending this winter at GGL, as our clients look for ways to connect to team members or their clients. We loved working on this seriously playful NASCAR Game Night kit which included everything recipients would need for a night of friendly competition. The mailer included: custom written mad libs printed on napkins, coasters printed with tic tac toe, branded cups, branded white board and dry erase markers, confetti fling, confetti popcorn, a cheeky buzzer and a photo prop for gloating about your win. Of course, some classic games were also included. Ding! Ding! Ding!
