My name is Kelly and I have been dealing with food issues since 2007…. (really my whole life. They just got worse as I got older.) I cut dairy out officially in March 2007 and gluten a few years later. Allergists have had me add it back in here and there, but as of November 2023, I am done eating it for good. While I do not have Celiac, I do have major issues with gluten.

I became a Travel Agent in June 2016 and I love helping my clients plan their vacations. While we travel a lot of places and I book a LOT of things, Disney World is the place I’ve been to the most and successfully eat at for years with allergies.

I went to Epcot’s Festival of the Holidays for the very first time this week! I ate my first ever “snack” in the World Showcase. Between me not being adventurous and also not being able to eat anything with dairy and gluten… the World Showcase is usually a struggle for me. I stopped but this booth on the way to the Candlelight Processional and while they didn’t have an allergy binder they DID call the chef to see what was safe. Don’t let this picture fool you, those shrimp were HUGE. They marked my receipt with “all good” (signifing they spoke to the chef) and rang it up as an allergy.
