A sundae on a Sunday! We put a cherry on top of our tour season taking Jane and Imad on our Beaches and Cream Tour! They kicked off their shoes and got sand between their toes before a stop for lunch and another for ice cream.

The Grapes of the Path! Jennifer and Gary dropped their kids at the grandparents' place and took our tour on the path along the Delaware River. We stopped for a bite to eat at Lumberville General Store,and then visited nearby The Federal Twist Vineyard where it is almost harvest time. Nobody whined! (See what I did there?)

Fun at the farms! Three couples spent a gorgeous day visiting some of the farms that give the Garden State its name. They not only got some delicious fruit and vegetables at the farm markets, they got an education about farming from Jim at Blue Moon Acres!

A chemical reaction! Lori and Roger are both chemists and they decided to brave the elements (see what we did there?) and take a tour on a hot July day. They beat the heat with a stop midway at the indoor farm market at Blue Moon Acres (a team member was kind enough to take a picture of the couple and our guide) and ended with a delicious lunch (in air conditioning!) with ingredients sourced from local farms.

The Google review is in: "Natalie did a great job connecting us with a new guide when she became ill, and Andy arranged a great tour, picking it up at the last minute and making arrangements over the holiday. He tailored the trip to our goals and the very hot conditions of the July 4th weekend. We rode past several farms, had nice stops at Blue Moon and the Watershed Institute, and a great lunch at the end. He offered us choices throughout to keep the day exactly to our liking and was great about taking pictures as we went. He also had great advice for other good rides and places to visit so that my husband and I can keep up with our bike riding dates. I expect we will plan some future tours as well."

Father's Day fun! Two sons decided to treat their dad to a tour along the river. We stopped to fuel up with coffee cake and cappuccino (yes, it was before noon!) and the guys took a stroll around New Hope.

The Google review is in: "We had an amazing time with Andy on this tour! We went down a beautiful, scenic path along the Delaware River and stopped in some of the neighboring towns. Andy was very friendly and easy to talk to, he knew a lot of the history of the area and overall made it a very pleasant experience. We'll be booking another soon!"

A belated Mother's Day gift! Not only did mom get a ride but dad did all the hauling of the two kids! To be fair, mom also did a lot of work with the two little ones. We stopped at a vineyard for lunch, which one of the kiddies slept through, but everyone was awake for ice cream for dessert!

A Happy Hopewell Father's Day! (Belated)

A few months ago, we received a booking request from a name we recognized...Jenna Intersimone Politz ( on Instagram), famous food and travel reporter for USA Today! We thought, "We will have to bring our A game for her," but then, that is all we ever do. But just to be safe we had our "A" guide Andy curate a tour she wanted to do for her dad for Father's Day. Well, the heat and smoke of summer delayed the tour to September, which turned out to be perfect timing to see the grapes on the vine at Hopewell Valley Vineyards. Sergio, one of the owners, was kind enough to take time out of his busy day to chat with us.

A birthday bash on bicycles! Michelle asked us to put together a tour to celebrate a milestone birthday with 14 of her family and friends. So we arranged for bike rentals and curated a tour along the Delaware River that everyone could do with no trouble,. We had one stop at a vineyard for a celebration (where we arranged for a private tent) and another at an ice cream shop to cool off. Everyone had a blast and we even surprised Michelle with some birthday decorations to add to the festivities!

Reach the beach on a NJ Bike Tour! Ken and Caryn used a gift card from a dear friend to take our Beaches and Cream tour on a beautiful summer morning. We stopped for coffee instead of ice cream but the cream in the coffee still counts! They have ridden many places in NJ but not here and were thrilled we helped them discover this hidden gem. They hinted they will come back for a tour of the second part on Sandy Hook.

One for the record books! No, not the temperature, but the mileage. Ken and Kathy booked our Paths and Pastries Tour along the Delaware River. They asked if they could add some more miles to the usual itinerary to prepare for an upcoming bicycle tour vacation out West. So, we super-sized it for them! It was their guide Andy's longest tour with the company. They did beat the heat by grabbing some ice cream on the way back.

A happy birthday in Hopewell! Mary helped celebrate her husband John's birthday with one of our vineyard tours. Their good friends Patrick and Jane joined in and so there were four for fun and food! We stopped at a winery and an organic farm (and also for some photo ops) before wrapping up with a delicious lunch.

John writes in his review on Google, "This was the first time we were on a tour and really enjoyed it. Would highly recommend it if you're looking for a lovely day in the country."
