🦀🦀🦀 our crew caught their legal limit and fed the whole block!! From deep sea fishing to shoreline shining, we want to get you vacationing like a local! Today, we're working with a sweet family coming down from S.C. and their preference sheet said, "FISHING." So we are working with every type of local fishing vendor we have for a week full of 🐟🎣🦈🦀 experiences and lots of good eating along the way!!

Happy Mothers Day from the Holla'Daze family to yours!! This role as a mother has caused me to smile bigger, say I love you freely, explored more, slowed down, view the world through new eyes, loved with every fiber of my being, and thanked God a whole lot!

Today can be hard for some so we send our condolences and understanding. We wish your hearts peace and joy!

For anyone else celebrating their mom, remember to tell her you love her, hug her tight if possible, spend a little extra time with her, fold a load of clothes, and bring her a good cup of coffee! She's a special lady and deserves some care. 💗💗💗

Holy moly it's a HOT one out there today! The water is crystal clear and the sun is up!! The only thing missing is an afternoon cocktail in hand!! One of my go to's is a Salty Dog. My aunt who is absolutely magical and a well full of knowledge taught me the best salty dog recipe and I'll share it with you below! However while on vacation let us recommend the best bars to you or better yet we can bring the bar to your condo/ airbnb/ vrbo/ or vacation home with one of our amazing vendors! Mobile Bars are innnnn and Holla'Daze has the hookup for our clients!!

Salty Dog Recipe

-Use a highball glass.
-Salt the rim with coarse sea salt or pink Himalayan salt (if you like heat use Tajin)
-Add 4 or 5 large (BIG) cubes of ice 🧊
-Sprinkle the ice with a little course salt (this will cause the ice to get holes for the drink to nestle down in)
-In a shaker mix 2oz titos or gin with half a cup of fresh grapefruit juice and a small splash of simple syrup (((shake shake shake)))
-Pour over the ice.
-Garnish with a grapefruit wedge or sprig of rosemary

Mother's day weekend is here!! How are you going to celebrate the mother in your life?!

Hayley here and I love a mother's day where the beach wagon is already packed and the snorkels and mask are ready to go. I love a fresh colddd bellini beside my cup of coffee and something of the pastry family on my plate (preferably a chocolate glazed donut) with a side of crispy bacon. I love the kids in their swim suits and water and sandwiches in the cooler. I love sun on my face and my toes in the sand! I love the smell of banana sunscreen and alt-j radio steaming through my speaker. I love order in pizza and water hose showers outside. I love everyone in big tees and rosey skin with only a sheet as cover, all piled in my bed, pizza on paper plates, soda in cans, and falling asleep to a classic movie (think the Princess Bride, E.T., Naco Libre, or a Knights Tale) I love the togetherness with my tribe, putting down our phones, and making our day great!

What do you love and how do you hope to celebrate? If you're buying mom something let me know what. I need fresh ideas for my mom! I'm an experience kinda gal. What are you or what's your mom? Experience or Physical Gift?

Happy Earth Day!! Sometimes we find ourselves taking a sweet little break from the island and head inland to hug the cows and feel the soft lush grass brush against our legs. To breathe in the dense fresh air and watch the fireflies light up the night. The Gulf Coast is one of the most magical places on earth and we are so grateful this piece of earth is ours to treasure, take care of, nurture, and enjoy!
