Cap't Dan is getting High Ty'd ready to go back in the water. It was a long wait for his Captain's License renewal (5 months) and Old Man Winter to leave. A few more maintenance items to take care of and then time to start running: Scenic Tours, Dolphin Tours, and Navy Blue Angel Practice Tours. Enjoy the wonders of the Pensacola area from the water. Another awesome day of diving in Cozumel with Dive Palancar Cozumel! On Palancar Gardens, I was wowed by a frogfish the size of my pinky fingernail! It was swimming above an Anenome, and disappeared into a plant! It was similar to the color of the one in the picture! Wowza! 🤩♥️
And on the night dive on Delilah, tons of octopus and crabs, lobster, squid, and the BIGGEST Gray Angelfish I have EVER seen, like the one in the pic, but 3 times larger! Muchas Gracias, Ramiro Barrera for an amazing night dive! Night divers pictured below! 😎🥰🐠💙🎉 -with Dive and Travel Adventures

I went to sleep last night feeling thankful and very sad. Thankful my family is safe and sound from Hurricane Milton. Sad knowing today will be a day of sadness and desperation for many dealing with the loss from Hurrican Milton. If you have the resources to help fellow Americans (Family) in need from Hurrican Helene and Hurricane Milton, please help. If you are going to donate money, research the organization you are donating money, make sure your donation is being utilized for the greatest good! If you are able, donate your time to help fellow Americans. Contact your Representatives in Congress to stop the aid to others until our fellow Americans are taken care of. Family First!!!

Welcome to High Ty’d Charters. We are a top rated scuba charter and dolphin tour operation. Captain Dan Bloom and Heather (wife & travel specialist) purchased the business from Ty and Rebecca McCall. High Ty’d is a shaded, fast, comfortable 6-Pack Grady White boat located at Southwind Marina west of the Naval Air Station. It is a short ride to Pensacola Pass and out to the sights in the Gulf of Mexico.

Most divers bring their own equipment, or you may rent equipment from multiple dive shops in the area. There are numerous dive sites to enjoy. Dive site choices are weather dependent. We are a fun crew and safety is a priority. We cater to all levels of divers, new divers to technical divers. There is the amazing Mighty “O” (USS Oriskany), largest artificial dive site in the world. We like to dive her weekly. Pensacola is home to “5 ships on the shipwreck trail.” There is an abundant variety of marine life to see: Sharks, Dolphins, Jacks, Angel Fish, Toadfish, and Macro life too. You may even see a Whale Shark! And if you are a Lionfish Hunter, let’s go hunting! For the non-divers, how about a Dolphin Tour? It is always fun to see these beautiful mammals. Captain Dan was welcomed to Pensacola by a pod of 15 to 20 Dolphins on his first trip out to the Gulf. A thrill for all on the boat to interact with the Dolphins. They like to play around the boat, jumping, swimming, slapping their tails, and talking to the guests on the boat. What a thrill!
