Headed out from Keaton today with Mike King and his two grandkids Ethan and Brayden.they caught a 3 man limit of trout today and reds on Unfairlures 100 stickminnows,rip n slahes, and redfins.Brayden got to break in his new rod from Christmas with the biggest trout of the day with Ethan catching the most trout today but Brayden got him on the reds.I didn't get to get many pics of the 3 of them today due to all the double up and tripled up catches they were getting on the trout. Had a cold morning with Seth Kirkland his brother in law Jessieand his three year old nephew Tate.we got everyone bundled up and headed out to the flats at keaton .the bite turned on once it warmed up a lil.They caught their limit of three reds and kept and handful of trout for a family gathering this evening throwing back many more trout for another day.Seth caught all his on unfairlures floating stickminnows in pearl olive and emerald while lil tate and his dad caught trout and reds on live shrimp from Wilson's Bait & Tackle under a 4horsemen popping cork.Tate had a blast wanting to take a pic of each trout with the fish grippers. My first trip out of Keaton beach since the hurricane yesterday with the Chris Rogers and his son Hayden along with friend Danny Purvis.they caught a nice 3 man limit of trout and reds on slick plastics and unfairlures 80 and 100 stick minnows in pearl olive.Danny Purvis caught the biggest red 26.5" on a slick and Hayden caught the biggest trout a lil over 22 in on the stick minnow along with many more trout over the slot with quite a few double ups on the day. I had a fun trip with Seth Kirkland and his dad yesterday going out of the Econfina river .they were down from Atlanta staying at their place in Steinhatchee wanting to check out a new area and do some catch and release fishing. Seth caught a bigbend slam yesterday a trout,red,and flounder.they caught and released many slot and reds all on artificial lures by unfairlures in the pearl olive stick minnows,rip n slash in pearl olive and hot orange also. Had a fun day with Steve Thompson and Jr Daniel out of Tifton GA today out of the fenholloway river.they caught a boat load of red fish,trout ,and sea bass today .Jr missed a fine trout today at our last spot probably went over 5 pounds shaking the plug out of its mouth unfortunately. Had Mike King and his good friend Carl Jackson on the boat today .they had a good time catching fish and picking at each other all day on who was gonna catch the biggest trout which ended up being Mike today.All their trout today and redfish limit today along with a blue came on the Unfair Lures 100 floating stickminnows. Had the pleasure of taking Jeremy Adams and his dad Mr Larry out today.they had a good time getting their limit of trout and redfish this morning.Jeremy caught his today on topwater and the unfairlures stick minnow while his dad caught his fish on live shrimp from Wilson's Bait & Tackle .Jeremy used to fish in our local nfgfc club tournaments years ago with Steve Taylor and taught one of his other partners Matt Howell everything he knows. Lil scouting trip today by myself for tomorrow's trip .I got a lil bit of a late start lil after 9 but first spot put the limit of trout and red in the boat.there were quite a few more trout caught including two 23 inchers that were released. All the fish today were caught on Unfair Lures rip n slash in hot orange and their 80 and 100 size stick minnows on Fitzgerald Fishing aqua fins rods and Florida Fishing Products reels. Trip out of econfina yesterday for the last North Florida Gulf Fishing Club tournament of the year.we caught quite a few trout and sea bass yesterday out there on a gorgeous day out there with a lil debris in river and a couple trees out at the mouth to watch out for.i caught my limit of trout and a red on a Egret Baits vudu v***n under a 4horsemen popping cork and my two sidekicks caught their trout on suspending lures.we finished .3 oz from 3rd needed lil more help from them sidekicks 😅.we kept just what we were trying to weigh in and the rest went back today.

Had a good day of fellowship with Mike King and his brother in law Dick.they caught a good mess of trout,reds,flounder, jacks, and some blues today.Dick caught the slam today of the trout,red,and flounder but just wasn't big enough flounder to keep but ol Mr Mike caught the keeper flounder to take home to his wife.they caught em all bouncing jigs and popping cork fishing using fitzgeraldfishing rods. # Woods 'N Water Magazine

Couple hour trip this morning and then went and found some a/c. The first stop got some reds on topwater and then went trout fishing for a limit. I caught about ten keepers of trout with a bunch more shorts. The trout came on 4horsemen popping corks with glow lil slicks,glow assasins and a new bait, the egret vudu v***n, also in glow. The plastics were also on texasrattler jigheads

Had the pleasure of taking Michael Rhodes out today a former co worker at the mill and wife's cousin Travis all the way from Washington. Travis had never been out on the flats before fishing and today got to catch his first redfish and some keeper trout along with many shorts . Michael caught one red on topwater after trout fishing and catching a nice mackeral. Fitzgerald Fishing

Went and fished our annual one trip to panacea for the North Florida Gulf Fishing Club tournament and managed only a few keepers on the trout with lots of shorts and small reds but caught my biggest black drum sight casting to it a 35 incher on a slick plastic and texas rattler cmax weedless hook on a fitzgeraldfishing vursa rod.
