As we get ready for the expected snow/ice today and this weekend, here are some reminders that will help out our crews and your neighbors:

❄️ Please do not park your vehicles on the street or in a cul-de-sac until it is cleared of snow. This makes it difficult for our plows to maneuver around.
❄️ For your safety and the safety of the snowplow drivers, give them plenty of room to make wide turns, keep a safe distance behind the plows (100 feet) and do not pass the plows.
❄️ The City is divided into eight sections with a snowplow in each section. Priority is given to the main streets, intersections, school zones, streets with hills and curves. The main streets are cleared first. The secondary streets and subdivisions are given equal attention after the main streets and school zones are cleared.
❄️ All sidewalks and shared use paths within the City limits are to be cleared within 30 hours of snow accumulation exclusive of Sundays and Federally mandated holidays. Please refer to City Ordinance 1022.28 on our website.
