This is a favorite trail of ours. It’s less crowded (and for us that means not seeing people at all for a while) than the waterfall trails (where you see people occasionally). One summer while on the trail we discovered a rope swing out over the river not far from the parking lot. The next day we packed a picnic, had towels and bathing suits on and had so much fun on the random rope swing someone had hung. Those little discoveries in a beautiful setting are what makes the area so magical for a refreshing getaway. Our kids will always remember the moments and memories we shared there. ❤️
