With more than 60 years of photography experience, we at LaRose Studio have witnessed our business grow through every era in photography throughout all regions of the United States. The quality and style of the Black and White Era is present to this day in our copy and restoration services. It still brings us great pleasur
e and personal satisfaction each time we see the "Freds Studio" or "Ochs Studio" logos embossed on original portraiture. LaRose, purchased the business, thereby becoming the second generation in the profession. It was their task to unite the tradition of black and white portraiture with the innovation of the Direct Color Era. Presently, the third generation, John M. LaRose Jr., continues the Ochs-LaRose tradition. With advancements in technology and the expertise of his management team, John has introduced the craftsmanship of LaRose Studio to the nation. To this day, with each release of the camera shutter at LaRose Studio comes the stopping of time and light, hosting forever a statement of art and creativity. It has been a constant journey to record and create fine portraits in tune with light, pose and emotion in any style throughout all eras. The commitment to fine art has been the tradition for each generation of LaRose Studio professional photographers--the legacy that was started over 60 years ago.
