I just love Autumn..it’s been a beautiful, sunny fall, filled with so many bright colors! But soon the rains will come.. the leaves will fall…the birds will head south….some folks will sit around bon fires and drink piping hot apple cider and others will cozy up on the couch watching Hallmark Movies. I guess you can guess where I’ll be!🤗🤗🍁🍁

The National Park Service has reopened US 441/Newfound Gap Road to allow for access between Tennessee and North Carolina communities. Please keep the following in mind as Pigeon Forge is welcoming visitors who can access the city through safe routes:

✅ Plan your route and check on the status of local communities before you visit.

✅ Have a plan, know your limits, pack the 10 Essentials (www.nps.gov/articles/10essentials.htm) and avoid all water recreation. Know that emergency services are stretched thin, and response times may be delayed.

✅ Park areas including Cataloochee Valley, Big Creek, Balsam Mountain and Lakeview Drive are still closed. Oconaluftee and Kuwohi visitor centers are also closed. Check current park conditions before heading to an area of the park.
