FREE things to do in Disney at Christmas🎄
There are so many things to experience during the Holidays in Walt Disney World. We’ve all heard of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and the new Jollywood Nights in Hollywood Studios, but have you heard and done these FREE things?
🎄 Santas in EPCOT- During the International Festival of the Holidays, guests can find a range of international Santas and other Storytellers unique to each country in the World Showcase pavilions. There, they narrate their respective holiday traditions from various parts of the world.
🎄 Gingerbread Crawl- After months of hard work and creativity from the talented culinary teams, these displays are brought to life and are well worth the visit. With plenty of hidden details, guests can easily come back again and again to experience these gingerbread creations.
🎄 Christmas Tree Stroll- Each year, Disney Springs is decorated with gorgeous, themed trees all around Disney Springs representing favorite characters, films, and even attractions! Using a map and stickers, this complimentary scavenger hunt is fun for everyone!
🎄 Ride overlays- Jungle Cruise in the Magic Kingdom, and Living with the Land in EPCOT host a Holiday rode overlay through the Christmas season. While most ride overlays can only be experienced at ticketed events, these two attractions perform overlays for regular Park guest as well.
🎄 Merry Menagerie- These are life-sized artisan-sculpted puppets that interact with guests in Discovery Island throughout the day. The Merry Menagerie is such a cool interaction and entirely FREE.
🎄 A Frozen Holiday Surprise- This is a nightly castle projection show at that takes place during the holiday season. While it does have a showing during the Christmas party, it is not exclusive to Mickey’s Very Merry. The show celebrates all season long.
🎄 Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas Parade- This parade is exclusive to the Christmas Party until after Christmas! Beginning after the last MVMCP, guests can experience Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas Parade during the scheduled Festival of Fantasy time slot.
