The time is actually HERE! If you have been following me, you probably have noticed that for a while I have been doing announcments for galleries that are being set to expire/deleted from my website. All galleries that are older than 2018 (including 2018) are subject to be removed.

I am selling flash drives for $85-$115 ( I am taking orders through March 15th) and I can tell you or reset your passcodes! Please make sure you have all sessions downloaded from my website, not just from the mobile App. The App will not show the images if the gallery is deleted. Save them to a secure device (or even two of them!)

I was featured in Bliss Bridal magazine ! I believe it’s a little past page 100 🙂 or just scroll down on the first page and you may see it there! It’s featuring a wedding I did over a year ago at High Point Estate. ( One of the images looks like my cover photos)

I believe this was and may remain my last “all-day” wedding. I went out with a bang thats for sure. It was a beautiful, fun, perfect weather day! I couldn’t have asked for more. I even got to eat like … at least 4 Round Rock donuts 😍 haha

I can’t wait to get back to working and shooting! (Information about new sales at the end!) Many of you know I’ve been having some major health issues this year.

Well- I am finally getting the help I need through a great team of doctors. TOMORROW is a huge day for me, I head into surgery for a life changing procedure. I’ll be out of touch for a few days as I rest and heal.

I truly feel it will be all up hill from here, and I’ll be back on Chapel hill shooting elopements in no time!
With the Delta variant and COVID making a terrible come back, I’ll be joining the Chapel again soon.

Emily is an on-location photographer who loves working with natural light ! She is currently based in Austin, TX but travels and works in Southeast Texas as well ! She loves to collaborate with clients who have unique ideas. For the past 8 years, EMagery has specialized in weddings, bridal portraits, engagements, families, and senior graduates. Hi there! My name is Emily Huval and I am the owner of EMagery. I started taking pictures with a Polaroid camera when I was 12 years old, and I haven’t stopped documenting life ever since. Before we had a computer, I was scrapbooking my developed film almost every week! That love for film evolved into joining Lamar University’s Fine Arts program and pursuing my degree in photography. I had the privilege to be taught by renowned Texas photographer- Keith Carter. For several years after I graduated, I worked as his studio manager and personal assistant where I learned about historic photographic processes and perfected the art of darkroom film photography. Some day I would LOVE to exclusively shoot film but for now, I am in love with my two Canon MarkV cameras and I enjoy editing digitally. I also love private tutoring for Lightroom and Photoshop courses to those looking to learn the program or fine tune their editing techniques!

When I am not working, you can find me tending my succulent garden, hiking through Bull Creek, searching for new swimming holes in and around Austin, practicing my ukulele, or watching cartoons / binging the latest BBC crime series / rewatching Game of Thrones or Rick and Morty for the 100th time !!! I also love my fur family, my pets are my kids. My dog Sam is my “First Born” - but I am a cat lady at heart.

I have been shooting for over 8 years, and as a full time career since 2015. Meeting new people, making friends along the way, and having fun at what I do are just a few of the reasons I decided to make memories for a living.
