The virtual queue for BOTH Tiana’s Bayou Adventure 🐸 AND Guardians of the Galaxy 🚀 will END February 25th!

That means both rides will now use a standby line.

If you prefer to skip the line, you will still be able to purchase LLSP for Guardians and use LLMP for Tiana’s.

✨ First Time Magic & Half Marathon Weekend! ✨

In just a few weeks, I'll be checking into The Grand Floridian Resort & Spa for the FIRST TIME!

I’m beyond excited to experience the magic of this incredible resort—starting with the stunning lobby with giant flower arrangements, sparkling chandeliers, and marble floors featuring hidden Disney characters. I also can’t wait to experience the newly renovated rooms, try the various dining options, and a post run massage at the spa (for research).

Wanna know a secret about on site vs off site?

Walt Disney World hotels might not always win the "best hotel in the area" award, but the perks and the experience can definitely outweigh that for many guests.

*The theming, the atmosphere, and the convenience of being on-site are at the top of my list. A good example is early park entry. This time can be a game changer in your day for those trying to maximize time in the parks without waiting in long lines.

*Purchasing early access to Lightning Lanes is another big plus, particularly with popular rides. Even if you pay extra, I see this as a solid perk for guests who want to get the most out of their time (and investment).

*Lastly, there’s something really nice about not having to worry about transportation. It can be a relief knowing that the buses, monorails, or Skyliner are always an option for getting around.

🎭 EPCOT's International Festival of the Arts is an annual celebration at Walt Disney World Resort that showcases visual, performing, and culinary arts.

The 2025 festival starts TODAY. January 17 and wraps up on February 24.

During the festival, guests can enjoy a variety of experiences, including:

🍛Food Studios: 20 Food Studios serve art-inspired dishes and beverages throughout the park.
🎼Disney on Broadway Concert Series: Live performances by Broadway stars singing Disney classics are held daily at the America Gardens Theatre.
👩‍🎨Interactive Workshops and Seminars: Opportunities to learn artistic techniques from professionals.
🖼️Art Exhibits and Galleries: Displays featuring works by Disney and invited artists, with some pieces available for purchase.
🎨Family-Friendly Activities: Interactive experiences such as a paint-by-number mural and scavenger hunts.

As I pack up for a weekend getaway with the fam, I thought it’d be fun to share a sneak peek at my travel plans for 2025 (so far)!

☀️ January: Fort Lauderdale on a multi family beach trip.
🏃🏻‍♀️ February: Princess Half Marathon at Walt Disney World solo.
🏖️ March: Sarasota for some grandparent time with the kids.
🌼 April: Spring Break at WDW with my sis and our kids.
🇪🇸 June: Spain (pinch me).

File this under *silly facts* if you'd like, but at Walt Disney World, trash cans are strategically positioned about every 30 feet across the parks to ensure the grounds stay clean and tidy.

Many trash cans are uniquely themed to match the area or attraction they are located near. For example, in Epcot, there are trash bins designed to reflect the park’s futuristic and international pavilions.

Personally, I like them for taking photos 🥰

Disney announced last week that beginning January 9, 2024, guests with a ticket with Park Hopper add on will be able to visit another theme park at any time of day during park hours. We haven't had "anytime" park hopping since early 2020 (the before times), so this is a welcome change back for many. As an annual pass holder, I am VERY excited for this. Should I try the 4 park challenge in January? hmmm....
