Happy Rocky Day!

Today we kicked off the first-ever RockyFest with the unveiling of a special gift from Sylvester Stallone, a heartfelt expression of appreciation for all the fans who have supported Rocky through the years. For the next 30 days, Mr. Stallone’s personal cast of the Rocky Statue by Thomas Schomberg- a twin to the one that sits at the base of these famous steps will grace the top of the iconic Art Museum Steps. Thank you to our incredible partners at Philadelphia Parks & Recreation, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Visit Philadelphia, Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau and the City of Philadelphia for making this moment possible.

The celebration is just beginning - RockyFest officially kicks off today with an exciting week of events honoring Philly’s favorite underdog. 🥊

Beginning this Friday (11/29), the PHLASH will shift its operating hours to 12 – 8 pm for the remainder of the 2024 season 🚌 That means more access to holiday shopping 🎁 festive attractions 🎄 and dazzling holiday light shows 💡 along the PHLASH route. This Friday is also the final FREE PHLASH Friday of the year, making it even more convenient to travel for your Black Friday and holiday shopping needs!
