Matt and I did a 2-day trip in Price County and after some tough eats on day one we bagged a beautiful inland Wisconsin musky on the fly.

Throwing flies for muskies can be tough and demands your full attention every cast. It’s easy to fall into a slump but equally as easy to get on a heater when it comes to landing these fish; keep your head in the game and you’ll do great.

The Chicago expo will be hosted by at the Kane County Fairgrounds in St. Charles, IL on January 17th, 18th and 19th.

Winter weather has officially moved in and began the deep freeze!
Just like everybody and everything in Price County today I am beginning my winter hibernation.

Relaxing and looking back at a good November of fishing and enjoying this area for what it has to offer.

The last client to land a musky in my boat for 2024 was Tom with this beautiful fish on a day of rainy forecasts and wind.
We had a great year with a lot of success on the water and I cannot wait to get back to it in spring again with all my favorite friends, family, and clients again in 2025!
