On our third day in Morocco 🇲🇦 said bye to Casablanca and made their way to Rabat, the capital of Morocco and one of the most beautiful cities in Morocco.

It’s often overlooked by first time visitors to Morocco but we couldn’t skip it.

We checked out Hassan tower, a 12th-century minaret that was never completed, and the stunning Mausoleum of Mohammed V, where some of Morocco’s former kings are buried beneath intricate tilework and a golden dome.

Nearby, the sleek Mohammed VI Tower rises 250 meters into the sky, now the tallest building in Morocco.

The weather’s been absolutely gorgeous and we are so excited for the journey ahead.

What a great end for our second day in Casablanca ❤️

A lovely sunset from the rooftop of our hotel with incredible views of rh ocean, Hassan 2nd mosque and the vast views of Casablanca.

Grateful for good friends, great sunsets and the ability to travel and discover the wonders of Morocco.

What a day in Casablanca!

Day 2 of our Morocco adventure took us through the old Medina of Casablanca full of history and hidden gems.

Then we visited the famous Hassan II Mosque and wow, it took our breath away!

It’s one of the biggest mosques in the world 🌎and the tallest Minaret is very built.

Right by the ocean, the view is stunning and the architecture is just incredible. Every detail, from the high ceilings to the beautiful tiles, is pure magic.

We’re so grateful to explore this place with such an amazing group of women

Day two in Morocco 🇲🇦❤️ and we explored… a mall 😁

While malls are not part of our typical adventures, Morocco Mall in Casablanca is not your average mall.

It’s the largest mall in Africa with over 600 stores, ocean views an IMAX cinema and much more.

Morocco Mall plays a huge role in Morocco’s economy.
The retail sector in Morocco makes up 12.8% of the country’s GDP and employs over 1.2 million people.

The mall brings millions of visitors a year (locals and foreigners) and attracts local and international investments.

It’s a great place to learn more about Moroccan brands and designers such as Diamantine, Cote Bougie, Dar Lfakia, Leila Hadioui, Yan&One and more.

Oh, and we saw a diver inside the massive aquarium feeding a shark and a stingray!

And yes the last a video is a what the restrooms looks like at the mall. I mean… that alone give you an idea about this place.

What an incredible first day for in Morocco 🇲🇦

After all the women arrived and got adjusted, we all went out for our welcome dinner in one of the most beautiful restaurants in Casablanca with an incredible view of the Atlantic Ocean and a magical sunset.

We tried all kind of dishes like seafood tajine, stuffed calamari, ribs, shawarma, mezze, fried chicken, local wine from Meknes just to name a few things.

After that, we made a late night stop at Oliveri, an ice cream staple in Casablanca from 1950.

Our guide insisted it’s the best ice cream in the world!

We are so excited for this adventure in Morocco and for what the next days have in store for the Trekking Pals.
