I’ve played around with pricing quite a bit and I can confirm that if you put any sort of fee’s in this section it will tank your listing in the algorithm. Even if it’s $1. I don’t know why they even offer this section. If you need to add extra fees to cover misc costs either raise your rates, clean fee or send resolution request.

Part of Stay Porters claim against me is that they are a superhost which means they are the Most important Porter in the valley. But I just got superhost for like the 12th time. This one’s going all the way to SCOTUS for sure.

Stay Porter sent their lawyers after me to stop using the name “Porter”. I guess they think they own my name. I’m working on a few more business names all of which have the name “Porter” in them at least 30 times.

I cary ozium in my truck at all times cause I never know what kinds of odors guests leave behind. A while back I had guests smoke MJ for days inside and this got rid of the smell immediately. Also nice to freshen up couches and other fabric surfaces that people sit on.

My neighbor sold their house and it’s been sitting empty gathering packages for maybe a month. What are the odds they are trying a STR? House sold for $650k in Peoria. I can’t wait for my first noise complaint!

Can you believe a guest left me a 3 star review based on the pool light going out? There wasn’t even a crocodile in pool.

Pool guys charge like $300 to do this. It’s a little but of a pain and easier if you goggle up and get in the pool for sure. These new LED lights are pretty nice and some you can remote control and have a bunch of different colors to chose from. I opted for the $30 version cause it’s just another thing to break.

Anyone else wake up to green pools today after that micro-burst? Already purchased 12 gallons of liquid chlorine. There’s a reason I only do emergency pool stuff for a few people…and that reason is “I hate it”.

Spent an amazing week in Puerto Peñasco Mexico with the family! We go every year and I already want to go back. The condo we stayed at was nice but we definitely had issues the night we got there. First they sent us to the wrong unit upon check in. The smart lock was dead so we had to use a key the whole time which isn’t a big deal but it’s one more thing to lose at the beach. One thermostat had the down button missing so you couldn’t lower the temp and other thermostat was dead. There was a number of broken things, mirrors, towel bars etc. I am empathic to rental issues obviously but it is frustrating to run into so many issues the first night. Anyway the beds were comfy and once we got the AC’s going we enjoyed running them at 65 degrees. We spent our days at the beach getting tacos and empanadas, swimming in the pool and enjoying the hottub. Can’t wait to go back! Only 3.5 hours from Phoenix.

Listen I’m not a pro YouTuber and I don’t have a camera crew follow me around while I try and make poor quality videos. That being said, if you have a hot tub you gotta get one of these cordless water vacuums. I think I paid $60 for an open box one and I use it probably 4 times a week. Link in comments.
