Established in 1991 and incorporated in 1992, Outta Town Productions started as a bunch of friends playing volleyball on the beach in Rocky Point Mexico. It started with each player putting $2 each in a hat, with randomly drawn names of each of the 12 players to form teams. The winners of this first mini tournament won the whole $24 prize. Running twice a year, April and October, the tournament gr

ew to 80 teams maximum. It still runs today after 50+ events, only in more intimate numbers, maxing at 40 teams. In 2009, OTP developed tournament rules and boundary lines for Tri-Ball, which is a circular court version of volleyball, pitting three teams of coed threes against each other playing one volleyball over three nets. The goal was to promote a tournament in which all teams got many games, without sitting long waits, the competition was good for all levels of players, with a lot of touches for each player. OTP runs sand volleyball leagues also. Indoor power volleyball tournaments draw some top level teams when court space is available. OTP also takes adventurous people on vacation experiences each summer. Alaska, Hawaii, Peru, Costa Rica, Italy, Switzerland have been some of our treks. Active vacations with rafting, ziplining, hiking, kayaking and amazing scenery are on our list! Join us for adventure, skiing, hiking or all forms of volleyball! Get Outta Town!
