Top 6 Things to Know for Disneyland in January! 🎢✨

1️⃣ Holiday Season Ends January 6th 🎄
The holiday magic ends on January 6th, 2025. So this is your last chance to experience festive overlays, seasonal treats, and special entertainment.

2️⃣ Ride Overlay Closures 🚧
The seasonal overlays take time to transition back to their original forms.
- Haunted Mansion Holiday closes January 7th–17th to return to its classic version. It will reopen on January 18th.
- “it’s a small world” Holiday closes on January 21st for holiday removal and reopens in February.

3️⃣ Watch the Weather 🌦️
January weather can be unpredictable at Disneyland, with chilly mornings, occasional rain, and sunny afternoons. This can be a plus—rainy days often lead to smaller crowds and shorter wait times!

4️⃣ Lunar New Year Begins January 17th 🧧
Disney California Adventure transforms to celebrate Lunar New Year with:
- Special food booths featuring Asian-inspired treats.
- Live entertainment, including the Mulan Processional.
- Unique merchandise and character meet-and-greets, including Mulan, Mushu, and more!

5️⃣ Sweethearts’ Nite Starts January 21st 💕
Disneyland® Park will host Sweethearts’ Nite, an after-hours ticketed event celebrating all things romance! Be aware that on these select nights, Disneyland® Park will close early at 6 PM for regular guests. If you’re planning a day at Disneyland, double-check the event dates to make sure your plans aren’t impacted.
In January, the dates are the 21st, 23rd and 28th. Ticket prices start at $149/pp.

6️⃣ Kid Ticket Offer Begins in January 🎟️
Starting January 7, 2025, Disneyland® Resort is offering a Kids’ Special Ticket Offer for children ages 3-9: 1-day tickets are just $50, 2-day tickets are $100, and 3-day tickets are $150! Tickets are valid through March 20, 2025, with optional add-ons like Park Hopper upgrades and Lightning Lane Multi Passes.

🌟 Tiana’s Bayou Adventure: Walt Disney World® vs. Disneyland® 🌟

As your travel agent, it’s my job to explore both coasts—and that’s exactly what I did this November! I rode it in Walt Disney World® on November 5th with my Mickey Mom team and November 30th in Disneyland® Resort with my family!

Here’s the scoop on the newly reimagined Tiana’s Bayou Adventure:

✨ Walt Disney World®: If you’re not a fan of getting soaked, this is the ride for you! The splash is much more mild—sit in the back, and you’ll barely get wet. Perfect for a quick thrill without the soggy shoes!

✨ Disneyland® Park: Pack a poncho, my friends, because you will get wet—like, “don’t-wear-your-favorite-shoes” wet! This version delivers a splashy experience that’s best enjoyed on a warm day. Trust me, you’ll love it next summer when the temps soar!
