🌍🐐🔬✍️🚂 You may be tempted to pass on visiting Conversation Station because it requires that you take the Wildlife Express train to Rafiki’s Planet Watch. That all may sound time consuming, a little confusing and maybe, dare I say, boring. BUT, you would be missing out on experiencing the literal heartbeat of Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park and making lasting memories. Here, you can actually touch animals at the Affection Section, peek at veterinarians treating animals in exam rooms, watch as nutrition experts prepare meals, get your fill of reptiles and invertebrates, see what Disney scientists are currently working on, ask the experts anything, AND learn how to draw a Disney character. How’s that for edutainment?😄

to all the fun times we spent exploring The Seas With Nemo & Friends Pavilion when our kids were super little! They were happy to spend entire mornings riding the Finding Nemo attraction, watching Turtle Talk with Crush, and wandering amongst the exhibits of the pavilion’s impressive 5.7-million-gallon saltwater aquarium.

🐠🐡🐳 The heartwarming magic of Finding Nemo also comes to life daily in The Big Blue and Beyond stage show at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Here you’ll have the opportunity to watch Marlin and Dory’s unforgettable journey unfold through incredible puppetry and wonderfully catchy tunes. It is a fantastic show and should not be missed!

On March 5th, 1983, the Journey Into Imagination attraction opened its doors and introduced the world to Figment, an adorable new character who would eventually be recognized by many Disney fans as the unofficial mascot of Epcot. This lovable and sometimes mischievous purple dragon is the very embodiment of imagination, and a kindred spirit to playful children of all ages.💜💛❤️

You can catch Figment daily on his signature attraction, where you’ll adventure together to learn all about the 5 human senses. Upon exiting the ride, spend some time enjoying a mix of interactive experiences and creative play areas at the ImageWorks - “What If” Labs. And be sure to stop by for hugs and photographs at Figment’s meet-and-greet right around the corner. You never know what little spark of inspiration he’ll light up in you!🌟

Can I let you in on a little secret? Until a few months ago, I had never been to 50’s Prime Time Café at Disney’s Hollywood Studios😮 (Crazy, right?!) I finally came to my senses and booked a dinner for us there in November and, not only did we all become official members of the Clean Plate Club ( 😉) but we also unanimously agreed it is a must-do on our next trip!🙌

🥜🍓🥤 Is it just me or do you also feel a sense of calm and happiness wash over you at the thought of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich? (To be honest, it could be peanut butter and ANYTHING and I’m sure I would always feel this way!) This comfort food classic is practically perfect in every way, and with just a few simple ingredients you can whip up the 50’s Prime Time Café version of this lunch favorite at home any time in a matter of minutes. The Peanut Butter & Jelly Milk Shake is a surefire way to put a smile on your face and keep the Monday blues at bay!

2 tablespoons peanut butter
2 tablespoons strawberry jelly
2 cups vanilla ice cream
¼ cup milk

1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
2. Add additional peanut butter and jelly to taste.
3. Pour in a glass, add a straw, imagine yourself at 50’s Prime Time Café in Disney’s Hollywood Studios and let your worries melt away❤️

“Taylor Swift – The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version)” will begin streaming exclusively on Disney+ starting TOMORROW, and I seriously could not be more excited! Sadly, we missed out on getting tickets for the concert itself, but we got tickets to see the concert film at the movies with my nieces in the fall, we watched it at home once it became available to rent on streaming sites in December, and you better believe we are counting down the hours until we can enjoy it again to our heart’s content on Disney+. For anyone considering an Eras watch party tomorrow, here’s a quick peek at some of the Swiftie-inspired ideas we recently planned for my daughter’s and niece’s joint birthday celebration❤️

to my first-ever trip to Disney World! The first photo was taken just after boarding the monorail at the Transportation and Ticket Center, as we got on our way to the Magic Kingdom. I was excited and knew it would be a fun time, but I did not expect the profound emotional impact that my first Walt Disney World experience would have on me from that day forward. I fell IN LOVE! Plain and simple; hook, line, and sinker; no doubt about it – it was love at first sight when I stepped onto Main Street, U.S.A, and laid eyes on beautiful Cinderella Castle for the first time. I barely got on any rides (thank you, my sweet 9-week-old infant😉), it rained for most of the afternoon (pricey emergency Disney ponchos to the rescue🙌), my feet ached and blistered because I grabbed flip-flops to wear that morning (lesson learned BIG TIME 🤪), and our toddler pretty much called it quits by dinner time😆 But it was a perfectly imperfect day filled with so many moments of pure joy from start to finish!

Many wonderful vacations later, I am still every bit as enchanted with the Disney theme parks as I was on that momentous day. And that passion helped guide me to the career I now have as a travel advisor and Disney Destination Specialist. I am so blessed! Little girl me would be absolutely delighted to know that when she grew up she’d get to help others plan their own magical vacations! What a difference a day makes❤️

🍷🍺🍰It’s a great time to visit Disneyland! Moderate crowds, eclectic foods, ideal weather, and the return of the Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival! What could be better? Running now through April 22nd, get ready to enjoy the marketplace kiosk menus, craft beers, and wines inspired by the Golden State. I know I would be running to get the chocolate Mickey-shaped macaron with Snickers pieces if I was there!😉

Have you heard the good news?! Walt Disney World bookings for 2025 vacations become available TOMORROW for dates from January through October 2025. In addition to this announcement, Disney has also shared the addition of a new perk - beginning in 2025, guests who book a stay at a Disney Resort hotel will be able to enjoy a complimentary visit to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon or Disney’s Blizzard Beach on their check-in day! In what feels like the blink of an eye, this sweet baby is somehow celebrating her 16th birthday at the end of this week.😢 This photo was taken during her first trip to Disney World when she was just 9 weeks old. She slept and nursed through the majority of it and surely doesn’t remember one single bit of our time there, but my husband and I will cherish the memories we made on that trip for the rest of our lives!❤️

On this day in 1959, Walt Disney’s animated feature, Sleeping Beauty, premiered in theaters. Walt developed this highly acclaimed film during the same years that he was building Disneyland, which led to one notable change for his iconic symbol of the park. Though his castle at the end of Main Street was originally meant to be named Snow White Castle, he ultimately decided on Sleeping Beauty Castle to promote the release of his adaptation of the popular fairytale❤️🏰

Dining plans are officially back at the Walt Disney World Resort today, and that change means the return of snack credits! One of our favorite dining plan snacks is the one and only – Dole Whip🍍 Grabbing this refreshing soft-serve treat during a mid-afternoon break at the Magic Kingdom just can’t be beat! And, great news, with the help of just three ingredients you can easily make a copycat version of this iconic dessert for yourself at home!

½ to ¾ cups pineapple juice, divided
2 cups frozen pineapple chunks
1 cup dairy-free vanilla ice cream

1. In a blender, combine ½ cup pineapple juice, frozen pineapple, and vanilla ice cream until smooth (do not over-blend.) If the mixture is too thick to blend, add pineapple juice 2 tablespoons at a time.
2. Scoop into bowls and serve immediately.

It's officially holiday cookie baking season! One of the most popular cookies to make this time of year are Peanut Butter Blossoms. To add a sprinkle of Disney magic to this holiday treat, consider swapping out the Hershey's kiss for three M&M's candies and transform this festive favorite into Mickey Mouse Peanut Butter Blossoms!🎄🍪

1 bag of M&M’s Candies
½ cup shortening
¾ cup creamy peanut butter
⅓ cup sugar
⅓ cup light brown sugar
1 egg
2 tbsps. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 ½ cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt
½ cup sugar (for rolling cookies)

1. Heat oven to 375°F.
2. Beat shortening and peanut butter in a large bowl until well blended. Add sugar and brown sugar; beat until fluffy. Add egg, milk and vanilla; beat well. Stir together flour, baking soda and salt; gradually beat into peanut butter mixture.
3. Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Roll in granulated sugar; place on ungreased cookie sheet.
4. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Immediately press 3 M&M’s into the center of each cookie to make a Mickey Mouse. Remove from cookie sheet and cool completely.
