Pigeon Forge, Tennessee is excited to host the annual Chuck Wagon Cookoff, featuring competitive campfire cooking and a dinner concert. The event takes place from March 1-3, 2024. The cookoff is a chance for both locals and visitors to enjoy authentic chuckwagon cooking and cowboy entertainment. This event is a fun gathering for family and friends each year in Pigeon Forge.
🎵 The 2024 festivities will begin with an Intimate Evening Dinner Concert featuring Western singer/songwriter R.W. Hampton and cowboy poet and humorist Andy Nelson. Hampton has earned numerous honors from the Academy of Western Artists and the Western Music Association. Nelson, a second-generation farrier, captivates audiences with authentic storytelling.
🍴 On Saturday, March 2, ten chuck wagons will compete for top honors and cash prizes in the annual lunch competition at Clabough's Campground. Lunch tickets are available for purchase in advance. The event includes a variety of free family-friendly entertainment, such as Buckaroo Roundup activities, demonstrations, and Western music by Nelson and Hampton.
🍳 Pigeon Forge's Chuck Wagon Cookoff concludes on Sunday, March 3 at Stages West with a cowboy-style breakfast, followed by Cowboy Church.
