We love our local food trucks and Red Box Hibachi is one of the best. Chicken, steak, veggie, and shrimp. Served naked our with the following sauces: teriyaki, honey siracha, or bourbon. Each bowl also comes with a healthy serving of yum-yum sauce.

5/9/24 Update:

Ramsey Cascades Trail will remain closed this weekend, May 10-12. Due to weather conditions, trail crews were not able to complete planned work on a footlog bridge this week and need to keep the trail closed for visitor safety.

Following this weekend, the trail will be closed Monday through Thursday each week, except federal holidays. The weekday closures are in place from April 15 to November 14 as trail crews complete a full-scale rehabilitation of this iconic Smokies Trail.

Hikers throughout the park should exercise caution in the coming days as there are downed trees and some flooding following heavy rain. 🚨From mid-April to mid-November, Ramsey Cascades Trail in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park will be closed on weekdays as rehabilitation work continues. The closure started on April 15 and will be in place until Nov. 14. The only planned weekend closure is from May 3 to May 5.

"Trail crews will repair tread surfaces, improve drainages, construct trail structures such as staircases, turnpikes, and retaining walls and remove trip hazards like exposed roots and rocks," the Great Smoky Mountains National Park said in a release. "The rehabilitation will improve overall trail safety and protect the park’s natural resources. Located in the Greenbrier area, the popular four-mile Ramsey Cascades Trail is the only way to access the 100-foot Ramsey Cascades, the tallest waterfall in the park."

We’ve posted raising over 20k dollars over 3 years for Companion Animal Rescue & Education -CARE.
We’ve posted about creating our Friday and Saturday Night FREE Summer Concert Series.
We’ve posted about every step we have taken to reboot, this legacy Great Smoky Mountains National Park landmark!

We had a vision of bringing a mid-modern century lakefront resort back to life. The type of vacation you had in the 1950s just driving down the road, kids jump out of a car and skip a rock on the water.
